okI gave it five stars. It works as intended. It is very durable, you don't have to worry about it bending like metal. It won't crack as it is some what flexible. It catches material very well, and has catch gutter at end for any larger material. Product has a lot of options. Purchase multiple and you can make longer, or wider. They attach together easy and seemless. There are a variety of attachments as well making it even more versatile, and easy to match your needs. Well thought out design, and crafted nicely. I will be buying again+ accessories.

Last time, I bought a "package" with two of these sluice boxes, some gold pans, scoops, etc. You can see my previous review. In any case, was so impressed with the quality and customer service, not to mention how well they performed, that I bought two more so that we (12 year old daughter) and I can do different configurations (extra long, side by side, or run two to four separate smaller lengths in tight spaces). These are extremely durable, don't let the fact that these are molded plastic deter you. And because they are plastic and modular, they are cheaper than many of the metal sluices out there, lighter and customizable where solid or folded metal ones are not. They are also well designed and work as well as their metal and mat counterparts, using miner's moss in stead of mats. There are third party videos that show how some people have converted these to full mats, but I don't find it necessary.

Very clever ad...Please note this is sold as PIECES . After seeing this on a UTUBE channel and reading reviews of how clever to have a unit snap together I could not believe this foldable unit was this price, they show how simple it is to snap together and how easy to use ... Don't be caught off gard like I was READ THE-FINE-PRINT in PICTURES THAT STATE PURCHASED SEPERATLY I did end up buying it to try out but had to place two more orders to complete this unit to use as portrayed

Made well, and fits on the front of the modular sluice box system. It did arrive a little bowed upward on the front, and didn't quite match up fitting flush with the adjacentpart...but easily fixed with a heat gun. Be carefull though...it's easy to overheat, and permanently damage it...go slowly...bend a little past where you want it, and let it cool while holding in place..when you let go ot should relax, and rebound a little to being straight.

Miners moss without having yo buy the whole role. I’m good with that.
