KJV Color Study Bible with Ellen White Comments Large Print by Mission Publishing Imitation Leather – January 1, 2013

This is my last Bible I will be purchasing, unless they come up with an updated edition of this one. Its also the perfect Bible. Its great for new believers, those just starting out, and those who sincerely desire truth. There is much more than I expected, from basic teachings- completely supported by scripture, including salvation, where sin came from, why God permits sin, the state of the dead, the Law of God, the Sabbath, the eternal soul, eternal hell, and more. it completely addresses all the confusion of the world, with scripture completely, with historical facts as well as scripture. The basic fundamental teachings are also covered and supported. There are more maps than one could ever want or need, before, during, and after Jesus' time. Each book of the Bible starts with an "overview" which includes the history, authorship, date written, what happens, who is in it, what is covered and more. The Bible itself features the OT with chapter descriptions in blue, with Ellen G. White commentaries from her various books on the bottom. Sometimes, the commentary is so extensive, it will be dedicated to its own page. The font commentary of EGW is quite small compared to the writing of the Bible itself, but its not so small that one cannot read it. There are 3 separating ribbons for page marking. (They are black, not blue as pictured) There is a special section of pages between the OT and NT which tell of the history and what was happening during that time, as well as historical understandings, which support the validity of the Bible writings. The NT is separated in red, with Jesus' words in red, and is featured in the same manner as the OT. There is a complete listing of the Spirit of Prophecy books and writings abbreviations, supported by scriptures and where they can be found in their totality. There is also documentation taken from various SDA writings and letters. A standard concordance is included, as well as a scripture index of all of EGW's writings. There is also a chronological section on charts, which include feasts, sanctuary services, priests and who was ruling ,and much more information that one could possibly ever need on that topic. There are genealogy charts of the patriarchs, as well as from Abraham to judges and showing Eden to Jesus. This Bible is truly remarkable. We're very pleased !! The $80 (prime) price tag is generous btw, this could easily have been worth $100's.

First of all, why this particular Bible?I have 11 different study Bibles, with 11 different translations. So it begs the question, why this one?For one, I wanted a complete study Bible I could comfortably take to Church!Secondly, being a new Seventh-Day Adventist I wanted a Bibles which contained an Ellen G, White Commentary in it.So this Bible accomplishes all of this and more! In addition, as other reviews have noted, it has many astounding Bible helps, charts and maps within it. Lastly this Bible has light indexes for each chapter (you can see it here in the picture I attached.So this Bible checks all the boxes for me!It is easy to handle. It has light indexes for each chapter making it easier for those new to the Truth. And it has GREAT commentary.It will provide you many years of quality time spent in the study of the Scriptures!

This is my favorite Bible. I sent one to my friend in San Diego, I have one at home and I have one on the way to Hawaii where I have a condo.The only thing negative I have to say is that Ellen GWhites commentary is very small print. I can still read it with my glasses though.Thanks

I am very grateful and blessed to have this study Bible. I prayed that I would receive it shortly after I purchased it online and my prayers were answered. As soon as I received it, I started studying and love the commentaries by Ellen G. White/ I also love the study topics and answers in the back of the Bible. I love the size of the letters and the pictures, but most importantly, I love how the Holy Spirit is guiding me in my studies. We must pray earnestly before reading and during reading, which makes God's words more clear and meaningful. May God continue blessing all who read His word and I recommend this Study Bible to all who want a deeper understanding of God's truth in these end times. I pray for a double portion of God's Holy Spirit upon all God's children to go out and share His love and truth to others. God bless!

But it is very deceiving to imply that you can purchase a leather bible, as the publisher's of this bible do not have at this time a leather version, they said they hope to have one next yr. But for now they do not have one, shame on the vendor that said they had a leather one. But still I will keep it because it is a good Bible.

You will never need another Bible period, end of story!!! It has everything the serious student of the scriptures needs plus more inspired comentary than any other Bible in existence!!!
