100 First Words: With BIG flaps to lift!: 1

Lovely pictures with big non-fiddly flaps on each page. Bought for toddler who's almost two and he loves it.

My 18m old toddler loves reading word books at the moment so I brought him this. The illustration is beautiful and it’s lovely and big as we find some word books can have such small pictures it’s awkward to read. We have read it hundred of times together already despite only having it just over a week! I point to the pictures and say the name of the object/animal but he also gets this book out and sits there reading it himself. It is definitely helping him learn to say and understand more words. The flaps are a lovely addition too, it’s a shame there aren’t more of them! Really recommend this for toddlers.

My son loves this book and points at all the different things. I think that this will be really useful for when he starts talking, but for now, it's great for learning animal sounds and names of animals. The illustrations are really beautiful and I like that they're a consistent style throughout (not always common in children's books like this). The cardboard flaps can be a little flimsy and bent easily but I just make sure he's supervised when reading this book.

I bought this book for my 18 month old son. It has lovely big illustrations with simple text labels for pictures. Each page has a flap to open and this seems to really interest my little boy. He seems much more interested in this book than some of the other word books I have and is quite happy to sit and look through it together. I also like the fact the names and illustrations for the vehicles are not americanised with a red double decker bus and a ‘lorry’ label instead of a ‘truck’. Would recommend to anyone with a toddler who is learning new words and building their vocabulary.

Embarking on trying to encourage granson with first words (apart from ball!) Have another book which is good but not the "100 words" He does like the book so i would recommend. Minor comment, he looks for more flaps than are actually there which he finds either frustrating or confusing

This book is fantastic. It’s really colourful with lovely big pictures, with lift up flaps to make it more fun. My little boys language skills have really improved since having this book and he often brings it to me to look at it and practice.

This was supposed to be a set if four books. It was only one. What a rip off!

I dont know why, but my son loves this book. He has a million books but he will bring this one out multiple times per day and he sometimes even gets up during the night to read it a little
