they began giving problems about 8 months later, ...i think because the lock is exposed to the weather ...but i found out -if the key ever stops working, it can be removed - by one quick hammer to the key area ...but then the lock no longer works -except as 'looking like a locked cap'Likely , regular oiling or greasing or wd-40 will keep it working fine...and staying away from salty roads tooI think it's better to have anti siphon devices pushed into the neck under neith the lock

Works as advertised, had to put a little WD40 in mechanism once in 20 months of service. Not much to be said for very utilitarian product.

Not recommend
One is new other cap is old with a bended key, received in a broken paper bag, not in a box yes it in paper bag cheap paper bag. Not recommend

This is a sound investment for the money....hopefully no more fuel teefs

Works well, worth the investment.
Locks nicely with no play. No seepage of fuel through the cylinder. Seals completely.Got hit for about 30 gallons of fuel before the purchase. This lead to the cost of a service call and the fuel in the transferr tank was dirty and had to change the fuel filter twice since then with-in 30 days.
