Bugs! (National Geographic Kids Readers, Pre-Reader)

This book is great for children who are starting to read and put words together. The wording is very simple and short making it easy for children to practice reading. The book also provides interesting facts for children to learn as well as interesting photos to look at. Every child learns at their own pace and speed so it would be hard to recommend based on a specific age, therefore I would recommend this level of reading for children between ages of 3-6.

The pictures are great and colorful and the information about the various bugs are great and my daughter loves to learn about bugs and other topics on this type of book we get her.

I bought this for my toddler’s birthday! He has such an interest for bugs and this is perfect. I love the photos and the simple text. It is high interest and we will be able to enjoy it for a long time.

Love these national geographic magazines for my preschooler.Grandson, I send em every month and he's always so excited and wants to read them soon as he gets them. Luckily, thanks to video online, we can read them together.

my four year old is very into nonfiction books recently. i bought him five of these national geographic books in different subjects for his easter basket from the easter bunny. easter was on a week ago and all the pages are starting to fall out. i love the price and info in this books but if the pages start falling out after very little use it’s not really worth it. can’t have a book when it’s just a pile of pages that don’t stick together. i’m returning.

These books are great, difficulty wise, and also serves as a great educational tool. I as an adult sometimes learn a thing or two and its nice to feed into the interests of the kids as they are learning skills like reading. It makes it way more fun!

Good bug book to along with the plastic bugs. 3 year old loved it

The pictures are large and clear. The text is short and sweet and is easy to read. Would definitely recommend for a small gift for a toddler.

Bought for my insect loving 5 year old. She loved the photography, some really stunning shots! Unfortunately though they haven't named any of the bugs! I obviously know most but there was a few I had to use Google lens to identify for her. A bit silly, they couldve just labelled them! Wording is very young, my daughter doesn't like this book apart from the pictures, it's too basic.

This book is great! Beautiful full page photos of bugs! I have already ordered another book from this series and I will probably order more!

The child’s book on ‘bugs’ proved a big hit. The little man who received the book just turned four and was able to identify every bug and spent time in his backyard with the book trying to locate some of the bugs! Fascinating read for a curious young mind!!
