We R Punch Board-Gift Bag

“Am i too late to start this hobby in my late sixtys?” This was the question that keeps bugging me . Another thought, am i artistic snd creative and patient to start this journey. Well the answer is I cannot refused the temptation of buying the wonderful tools of We R Memory Keepers. Watching you tubes of different tutorials , I finally indulge myself to the first tool i found temtping the WRMK The Work - All in One . Watched again the tutorials at you tube from different good crafters , i learned to love it for the ease of using it and its versatility . Seems getting to be serious , now finding myself buying more and more WRMK tools, A big investment to start for a hobby however this will keep me busy and a great challenge to this not so old lady to be able to do something of her own , who is having the fun of her life at the moment creating envelopes , cards etc to share with others. I love the WRMK tools i bought and would like to buy more .

These punch boards are always good quality and such a help when you want or need something in a hurry. Always love when they have a space for the plastic, well sized bone holder.

This punch makes bags that are either S (2 1/2"), M (3"), or L (3 1/2") in width and 2" deep. The height of the bags can be adjusted from 2 3/4" up to 10 3/4" high. You just add 1 1/4" to the height you want the finished bag to be to allow for the bottom flaps and cut you paper accordingly. There are printed directions on the punch as well as step by step instructions with pictures on a printed sheet inside the package. You can also punch holes with the reverse punch to use ribbon, twine, etc. to close the bags. It does take some force to press the punch down and some practice at learning how to make a bag with all the scoring and punching. But once you learn, you can make a bag in just a few minutes. I suggest practicing with some scrap paper before using the good paper you want to make a bag from.

I'm an avid crafter and I have been looking for a fun and different winter hobby. I came across one of these boards in Michael's the other day and loved the idea! Within a few minutes, I was making bags! Lots of bags! The board is pretty easy to use, though it doesn't look like it at first. After my first two failed attempts, it finally clicked and I made about 15 bags in an hour or so. The board and instructions are pretty self-explanatory, but my complaints are as follows: * You really almost have to be standing to get the punch part to punch cleanly. I tried several times to punch through pretty thin kraft paper and it wouldn't cut cleanly. So, I'd recommend scoring and punching a bunch while standing and then folding and gluing while sitting. * I knew the bag sizes were limited and small and I was fine with that. However, the length of score lines is only six inches, so for bags taller than that, you'll have to make sure to fold carefully. It would be great if the board itself was about 3" longer to allow for easier scoring of taller bags. * You'll likely need a separate cutting board to cut either the correct width and/or length. My recommendation on the bag length (height) is to just trim to the desired length *after* assembling. However, this will mean you can't use the hold punch for the top. While this is a fun hobby, it's not quick. However, it does allow for an inexpensive way to make personalized and fun bags for gifts. The board appears to be well-built and I've had fun using it! I look forward to trying their other boards!

I love papercrafting and have used a template to make gift bags for a long time. With the arrival of the Gift Bag Punch Board, I use that template less and less because using the GBPB is sooooo much easier! After cutting my paper to the selected size, I don't have to cut the paper again!! No more tedious fussy cutting around an outline! There are three sizes and they are not giant bags, but when you have a small gift to give, the available sizes are perfect to choose from. I am so happy I bought this fantastic papercrafting tool!

This punch board has been great. I love having the ability to create a bag out of almost any paper I like. I can coordinate my gift bags for the events I attend and the them or colors that are present for that day. I can also make the size I want to fit the item that needs to be wrapped. Be sure to use a good brand of two-sided sticky tape like Scor-Tape/Sookwang or wet glue as tape runners will not hold your bags together along with the items they were meant to hold. I am only missing one punch board from the set and that is the candy box punch board. I am looking forward to purchasing that one as well.

Not my favorite item as the instructions differ slightly between the marked ones on the board and the paper instructions. However, I managed to make a few but the sizes are limited and after not using it for over a year, will be selling it on Facebook.

Excelente producto, buena calidad. Fácil de usar una vez entendidas las instrucciones. Limitado el ancho a tres tamaños y en cuanto a la profundidad siempre es la misma.

I was really excited and couldn't wait for this board to arrive and when it finally did - I hesitated to open it up and use it! I think it's because it looked so fragile and delicate and I thought maybe I would break it or damage it in someway, but I found when I finally started handling the board and using it that it is quite a sturdy little device and can make a variety of lovely little gift bags in different heights and widths. It does take a little while to understand the concept of how it works, but once you do, it is a brilliant little device and I think even if you aren't a into crafting like I am you should buy it out of necessity and put your own spin on a gift bag for a loved one.
