Well, they only cost me $150 for the set so I guess you get what you pay for. First of all, I put them on a 78 Dodge and they DO do the trick. However the quality was disappointing. Luckily my truck isn’t pristine so I don’t mind so much that the chrome already had scratches and scrapes on them. They’re hollow tho. I guess since you don’t really ever see the bottom, they can cut corners. The instructions are confusing. It comes with a crap load of parts and most are not needed for my truck. So trying to figure out the instructions compared to the parts was a pain. The first one took me a while to figure out. The second one took half the time because I knew what I didn’t need. Also one of the bolts snapped in half as I was tightening, so thankfully they did have extras in the bag. Once installed they looked great tho and was able to hold my 250lb butt as I climbed in. Overall, I think they could’ve made them better and made the instructions easier to decipher. 3.5 out of 5 for me.

We installed this on our van and now we have easy entry and exit from the slide door. My only contention is that it's a bit spongy. The step itself it strong, but the whole entire step moves a little when you step on it. I'm assuming it has to do with sheer physics, in that all the weight is offset from where the mounting hardware is and perhaps stronger screws or better mounting hardware could fix the problem. I don't see it as a major issue so I'm definitely giving this four stars, meaning I like it but I don't love it. All my other vans had the running boards and I never had movement in those. At sometime in the future I might switch it up for running boards, but for now we're really happy since we had nothing but a huge step from the ground into the vehicle up until now.All in all, a really good product.

Easy to , with included hardware and instructions. Price is high though.

These fatties are wider than the average step and are NEVER slick (unlike the dumb black plastic step rails that come standard on most trucks) Bit of a pain to install on my 2006 F150, but worth it. They don't stay shiny long and develop dull spots because of the non-skid pattern (which people have complained about) but clean right up with a little chrome cleaner.

Had a pair of these before and liked them very much. Ordered this and missed the fact that there is only one (1) step in this order. Very good product but ad should indicate one (1) step more clearly. Returned and reordered with a "set" of these steps and got what I wanted in the first place. Other than that, very good looking, functioning product. My only thought about the quality was the fact that the brackets that mount the steps to the vehicle are medium carbon steel sheet metal that's galvanized. Living in the Northeast where salt is used on our roads, I opted to make my own brackets out of Stainless Steel to ensure a longer lasting solid mount over time.

Easy to install once you figure out where to locate and mount it. Very stable and easy to find on entry and exit. If I knew that it would hold up over the long run - I'd give it 5 stars - but too early to tell.

Great product. Bolted on with minimal effort. Its now easier to get in my truck.nice chrome looking finish on these steps.now I need to order one for the other side.

The backets will be an issue I bet down the line. Very thin and not hot dipped Galvanized. They will rust here in NH salt roads. Used year round so you can't escape the rusting of these metals.

Looks good on the E350 van and makes it so much easier to get in and out. Fast delivery.
