As a long time breeze box user I have tried many different options for cat pads. For me these are the best. I currently have one cat that uses these but in the past I have had 2 cats. I have these on subscription! * What works for me: The size of the pads, fit perfectly box tray. *They absorb well and do not spill over, they hold liquid waste well and I find I have to change the pad every 5 days ( my cat only uses two spots in the box so the pad has to take a lot in those two spots. * these are cost effective for me and I believe they are better quality then the brand name product. I purchased some *brand name* when I ran out of these and I was unhappy with the result of that product and put these on subscription. The brand pads are still in my garage for emergency back up. * Ingredients and thickness I feel that the ingredients of the pad are just right, the urine gels or absorbs I can pick up the pad without fear of spillage. I have only had desertcart pads leak a few times and I’m sure it’s been because of my failure to stay on top of changing my pads and to be honest when I had 2 cats using the box I would have to change pads every 3-4 days but I still feel these pads held up as well or better than brand name pads. I only have to change the Breeze pad every 6 days. So are these of lesser quality?** A: These pads fit the TCB tray and compared to the Tidy Cat Breeze pads seems to hold a similar amount of urine without leaking, HOWEVER, the Amazon pads DO NOT offer the same odor control. The Tidy Cat Breeze pads are far superior with odor control. I never smelled urine when using the Tidy Cat pads - ever! I couldn't get through 2-3 days without smelling urine with the Amazon Basic pads. I change the Tidy Cat pad every 10 days - I rotate the tray every 5 days so the unsoiled area of the pad is under the potty area of the tray. I never smell urine - even when I use the pad for 10 days. I do scoop the poo daily and I wash the entire box, tray and side guard once a month to keep the plastic from smelling. **Q: Can these be an auto ship/subscript item?** A: Yes they can. I gave mine on an auto ship so I make sure I dont run out. **Q: What is the Environmental impact of the pads after use? Do they break down?** A: No they do not. **Q: Appears to be 1-ply as compared to the 2-ply pads you aren't sure are going to be restocked. If so, twice the money, right?
