Tetris DS

This is one of the best versions of Tetris ever made and I'm glad I was able to find a copy of it even though it is no longer made. It has music from various Nintendo games while playing Tetris.

Before I get started, I want to clarify that I am comparing this to the new Tetris Axis game on the 3DS. While most people tend to stick with the good ol' Game Boy version, I've been finding alternatives. While most renditions of the game, this one actually is one of the few that gets it right. Nintendo did something right when combining Tetris with retro Nintendo action. The graphics are gorgeous and the music is beautiful. I actually went in reverse so to speak as I picked up Tetris Axis. That game was everything I hoped for and more in a Tetris game and more and do does this one. Tetris DS is one of the most addictive games I played and the modes are so much fun! I haven't done the online game play yet, but the modes on here are beast! Even though Tetris Axis has over 20 modes (which are addictive as well), this one has perks of its own to make you want to have both games :) too bad there isn't a rendition of Tetris DS for 3DS in the making lol thats wishful thinking. But if you enjoy Tetris with a mix if Nintendo at it or just looking for a great puzzle game, this, or Tetris Axis, or both, will be your game(s) :)

Y'all understand that title? Let me explain. I have a wonderful and a very dear sister, and this game was supposed to be hers, but I asked her could I have it because I negotiated with her to give her another wonderful game. See, we had this game a long time ago. I decided to get it again, since it's been a long time. Tetris is, and has always been my favorite ever since the original Nintendo game unit that came out-y'all remember?-the Super Mario series that played on that unit that you hook up to your TV? I really appreciate the fact that it is now on the DS unit now -thank you so much for it! It it is fun, it is active, it is colorful, and you really have a lot to do! Though I may not convince EVERYONE to purchase this game, those of you who DO love Tetris, I think that you will enjoy this fascinating game! Love you Amazon.com!

Super surprised at this one, not the Tetris from way back that bored me to tears but so many different ways to play keeps me involved for hours... I especially like the puzzles where logic and strategy is involved... Love it!!!

I'm an old school video game player, I still have My Sega, and 2 gameboys. Ya they still work. Collectible; ya never know. Anyway, I bought the Nintendo DS for my son (8) he never got it. I have 4 games for myself, this is one of them and my wife Plays the game all the time. She is up to 104 lines. I guess you could say that maybe i need to buy another DS for my wife and one for my son. HUmmm maybe i will get my DS back so i can play Mario....hahaha.. I'm 40 and my wife is 37 as of this review. The game rocks.... lots of fun....even for the old school gamer.

I love playing the Tetris DS Game, and I think that playing the Tetris DS Game is a lot of fun! I have owned, played, and lost this Tetris DS. When I went looking to purchase a new Tetris DS, I Was told that Nintendo didn't make the Tetris DS anymore. When I recently purchased the Nintendo Dsi, I searched everywhere for the Tetris DS. I found the Tetris DS, on Amazon.com! I am Very Thankful for Amazon, that I have found the Tetris DS, once again!

What do you need to know... about _tetris_. The new game modes are entertaining, and it's nice that you can easily do download play with other people who don't own this game. That's a great feature, because this game is apparently very rare, so you'll be few and far between multicard plays. It's pretty fun in singleplayer mode too.

Bought as a present for hubby - can't get him off it!!!! (It worked then...) It seems to do what it says on the tin, and in all the other reviews. I think I was lucky to find a supplier as I believe that this game is now becoming rarer than hen's teeth - the one that works on the DS lite, etc anyway. I wasn't sure about the images - hubby is hardly a child - but he seems to be quite taken with this part of the game too. All in all a really good buy. Just the price - I really had to save up for it.

I bought this game as I loved playing it back when it was originally released. It has lots of different versions of the game including the original version. I have become addicted to the version called 'push'. You have to compete against the console by pushing their blocks down while they try to push yours up. This game will keep you occupied for hours if you let it!

Nothing to dislike

I bought this for nostalgic reasons (I loved tetris on the N64), it includes classic nintendo games 8-bit tracks from the likes of Mario which can also be nostalgic for people. Considering it's just tetris, there's not much to say on story or anything, but there are a multitude of different modes to try and it's a fun way to spend some time.

I was so annoyed with myself as had this game a couple of years ago and stupidly sold it on Amazon. Since then have really missed it, especially over the past few months, and so decided to buy it again. It's a great game with many different options of play. Worth every penny and great to while away half an hour or so. Definitely recommend as a MUST have DS game.
