The most famous penetrating, alcohol-based leather dye in the world. Dries evenly and mixes easily to create interesting mediumes. Each 118 ml bottle contains a wool duster. The dye is intended for use on vegetable-tanned or untreated leather products and can be easily applied with a dry sponge or a wool trunk. After complete drying, this paint does not peel off, peel or rub off and remains fully flexible. Review: Good stuff - Received as expected. No issues. Good quality leather dye. Review: The only dye - The best dye on the market. Works great on my leather projects.

Dyed Salomon Quest Boots and ...
It worked perfectly! I used this to color a pair of Salomon Quest boots. Tho the directions said to NOT use on synthetic material, I disregarded this and colored the entire boot. Rubber. Synthetic Canvas (gray). And actual leather. I need all black boots for work so I risked it. They came out perfect. Great deep black color. I was afraid the dye would rub off on my hands but after two days of drying it has not. It has been a month now, color is still the same and looks great, tho I have not worn them in the rain but once. But I donโt think itโll matter. The dye that I applied to the edges of the rubber sole has all rubbed off, but I had hope that would happen as it had a purplish hue to it. If your thinking about using this on boots w synthetic material, I would try it.

This is a great buy.
I have brown sort of suade leather shoes that had gotten stains on them so I could not wear them to church. I was a little leary of what they would look like when finished. But I was really surprized. I used the dauber that came with the package even though a few people said th get a foam paint brush. The dauber worked real well and the die is SUPER. It covered stains and brown color shoes with just one coat. I did put a second coat after it dried but did not see any difference. I then used mink oil to give it some sheen and I have a new pair of shoes. I thought I would have to get a new pair of shoes and throw these away because they looked terrible with the stains. I still have a lot of stain left to do 2-3 more pairs of shoes. Wow for just $8.00 having a new pair of shoes.

Cheap and easy
Follow the suggestion of the top reviewer who did the boots. I have an old leather jacket and have tried to dye it numerous times and only got a slightly less faded jacket. I used two coats of this, almost the full bottle on a women's medium jacket and then coated with the Paul's bees wax suggested by the review who did the boots. Looks great and you get the added benefit of rubbing off the excess dye while applying the bees wax.
