Pura (Magnavore) Pura Filtration Pad Filtration Pad 7.5 X 10.5' Mechanical

This an excellent filter media. I use it in the top of the filter section in my Fluval Spec V. Despite twice weekly water changes I had a stubborn brown diatom issue. Three days after installing this media the brown was obviously on the way out. Water clarity was never an issue so I can't speak to that but I can tell you it certainly didn't hurt. These are pricey but they are a foolproof filtration solution. They trim fairly easily with stout scissors. As much as my small aquarium required it should last almost a year of monthly changes.

This product works quite well as designed for my aquarium price as good as last at least two weeks and a large tank

Purchased after we discovered Nitrates in our tap water were making my tank conditions bad for my fish. 1 week and I noticed a difference, it cut the Nitrates down by 50%! Hoping it does the same in my other thank.

this stuff is great! I started to get high phosphate levels and after about a week with this filter pad it cut them down more than half way!

Easy to use and very effective. Can be cut to fit any filter or other aquarium device. Lasts for months.

These work really well, tough to cut without making a mess though
