Great book! Very informative and funny at the same time.

I love mythical kitchen and josh never disappoints

As an almost middle aged gal, I was probably not the intended audience for this book. However, thanks to world events that supposedly sparked off from some bat soup, I am now the perfect audience for this book- suddenly trapped at home, with my entire always hungry family, in a house thankfully well stock with liquor and a very unpredictable grocery store supply (thanks to pandemaniac shoppers) causing me to sometimes redirect to Dollar General for food, which is surprising to say the least seeing as I’d never set foot in one until the last 30 days.Improvisation, deep frying, and alcohol. These are the things that will get us through the hell that is this stupid pandemic, be we college aged bros, middle aged mammas, or anything in between.Is the book full of curse words? Yes. In a completely satisfying and fulfilling way- especially when you’re reading it after spending almost a month trapped in your house and are pretty frustrated with the world in general. Tenderize a piece of meat with a vodka bottle or your fists? Hell yes! If you don’t find this satisfying and sage advice during this pandemic, well, then something is wrong with you. Josh’s book has been a delightful bright spot in an otherwise dreary media world. I stumbled upon Mythical Kitchen on YouTube trying to avoid the news, and after a few episodes, google led me to this book and I’m so glad it did.I’m not sure if we’ll still be trapped in our houses when anyone reads this review. If we are- definitely buy the book. Seeing as you have no idea what will or won’t be at the grocery store tomorrow, this is a solid investment in helping you improvise. And if Lord willing we’re out of this pandemic, well, you should still buy the book. It’s funny, and the recipes are great, and Josh is an entertaining writer.

I love this cookbook so much, and I wouldn't expect anything less from Mythical Chef Josh! If you're looking for Mythical Kitchen recipes this book isn't it, but all of the recipes sound amazing. So far we've done the Smores Burrito and our next one is the cheesesteaks!

This is the best cookbook I've ever read. The essays in this preach a gospel of food. Plus, the author swears a lot, and that makes the cookbook even more fun. It's real. It's well done. I'm a fan.

Bought this for my Chef Josh obsessed sister for Christmas, I knew it’d be a hit with her, but when it came time to wrap it, I almost didn’t wanna give it away. My fiancé and I read a good chunk of it that night and decided we need one of our own.It’s hilarious, well written and the recipes look crazy good.And really none of this is a shock cause Josh is great. But even if you haven’t seen GMM, or you have no idea who Josh is, it’s still a great cookbook !

My husband and I are big fans of Good Mythical Morning, and were introduced to Josh through the show. When he mentioned his book during an episode, I knew I had to get it for my husband! When he opened it, he was way more excited about the book than any of the other kitchen gadgets I gave him. I knew the book would be great and it does not disappoint! The loving insults hurled at you through practical advice and the bastardized versions of beloved “junk” foods are in perfect Josh style. Can not wait to make the smothered Dino nuggets!!

I have yet to cook anything from it but the recipes seem great. I love all of the jokes and puns. My husband and I love chef Josh and when I found out he wrote a book, my husband shouted "BUY IT RIGHT NOW". The table of contents is great. I can't wait to try out one of the recipes. My dream is to one day get this book signed by the legend himself. All in all, great book and must have for any chef josh fan.

I bought this to support Josh as I love his youtube videos, very pleasantly surprised to fall in love with this book irregardless of the writer! Great recipes and funny commentary. Recommended!

Very interesting book. Fun extras in the instructions. Easy to follow.Not a low cal/carb book.

I'd heard so many good things about this cookbook, and I enjoy Mythical Kitchen, so I thought this book would have lots of recipes I'd like. But after flipping through I can see only a couple I'd even bother trying. Very disappointing.

Want a cooking book that will tell you exactly what you want to hear like white american cheese is better thans fancy swiss cheese in this recipe. Fun to read, great recipe,not that hard to execute a must have!
