Tarot Made Easy

I have been a reader for 38 years and this book was the starting of it all ! I have worn out pages after pages and continue to buy as my reference book, I call this book my Tarot Bible🥰 This book has taught me EVERYTHING and made it frustrating free & fun to learn. It also teaches you a 32 card layout which is VERY detailed, with constant practice and reading you will eventually learn the name of each category by ❤ heart without needing the book to know what it represents, I continue to buy this book as a reference because it helps with reminders of what your reading & interpretation of specifics are ( as surrounding cards reflect the one you are reading and focused on, ripple effect). Everything from general readings to what numbers ( numerology) mean on cards, to time frames & seasons of expected events to take place, this book was the foundation of helping me learn & know each card individually, I highly recommend this book as you won't be disappointed. This book also is great because it was created without the confusion of learning "Reverse," which can be confusing for new learners,the author has summed it all up in one & that made a huge difference in my learning journey. This book offers many different learning spreads ( 32 card layout is my fave). This is a very good book for a beginner. I've had several times that I knew what was going to happen. It really works. My niece loves this book.

This is an excellent book. You can jump right in and start getting specific answers right away from your cards. I've used the dead tree version for years. I just misplaced that version so I opted to get the digital version. It has these really easy to use categories to help you in figuring out your answer. So I really recommend this book for newcomers to Tarot especially if you're not ready or willing to learn what each individual card means on your own. Learning each individual card can be done and for that I'd recommend : The Easiest Way to Learn the Tarot - Ever!! Paperback – March 20, 2009 by Dusty White I'm planning to use the Tarot Made Easy book by Nancy Garen to give me extra ideas for the cards since she's already done BUNCHES of work assembling her guide. It's a very easy to read book. Personally, I love the physical version of the book b/c the layout on physical pages helps me see the information faster.

I bought this book back in 1989 when it was first published. That book is now in tatters and I just ordered another. As some mentioned, not every interpretation is on the money, but it is still a great reference for when you pull a card that has seemingly nothing to do with the question or situation at hand. It gives useful information with 32 different ways to interpret each card, many of which are frustratingly absent in other books.

I've been coming back to this book when I do my card for the most accurate answers for 25 years.

I've used this book for several years now and find it especially useful when I want to know something specific. However, I've found that some of the cards give very negative readings when the cards themselves are positive in nature. The Sun card is one example. Pick up any other book and you'll read that the Sun card means only positive things, but according to this book, you shouldn't expect much. It also gives positive meanings to negative cards such as the Ten of Swords. I use this in conjunction with other books - never alone. Also, the "Unexpected" area is often related to Romance and is always off. I've learned to just ignore it altogether. What I find is the most accurate is the astrological signs that are attributed to the court cards. I can ask when something will take place and pull up the court card that will tell me when it will happen - it's always correct. It's also extremely accurate in foretelling a certain person who has that astrological sign. If you ask, for example, who will come into your life and you pull up the King of Cups, you can expect someone who is a Cancer to appear. It does an excellent job of indicating the type of position someone will hold at work. If I ask what type of job I'll be interviewing for and a King of Swords comes up, I know it'll have something to do with legal, and it does. Just be aware of the overall meaning of each card and take or leave what you need to. My biggest con for this book is that the glue on the binding on this book does not hold up to constant use.

The best book on tarot that you will ever find.

I had a copy of this a long time ago and lost it... replaced it with this new copy. A welcome companion to your traditional Eden Gray reference books on the Tarot.

Purchased this book as I wanted to learn more about the multi facetted meanings of the cards in different readings ie love and relationships, work and career and so on. This book is more than I expected, and gives you food for thought about how differently a card can be interpreted. I think this book is a great addition to compliment other traditional tarot books as you learn the tarot and I will use it for many years to come. Great for short quick answers in daily readings or week ahead spreads. For beginners I would advise using this book in addition to other tarot books as you really need to know the overall meaning of the cards in order to get the best out of this book. Nancy does provide a basic overview on each card but not as much as other books do. Theres definitely something for most people in this book and prompts you to consider other aspects of the cards meanings depending on circumstances surrounding the reading. This book provides 32 aspects to each card from family to fortune and others in between as other reviews have explained. Card spreads and numerology are also covered in the book. There are no reversal meanings of the cards in this book but that doesnt bother me as this is a great book. Simple and easy to follow I recommend this book to any one wanting something other than traditional layout of tarot boks.

The best book to have for beginners. I couldn’t recommend it more. So easy to read and has helped me become a more intuitive and insightful tarot reader. I was about to be really specific

El mejor libro de interpretaciones del Tarot en mi opinión (sirve para cualquier mazo), donde se comenta carta por carta, tanto los arcanos mayores como los menores, con muchas explicaciones para cualquier tipo de consulta: romance, viajes, cuestiones legales, uniones, familia, salud, finanzas, noticias esperadas, éxito, fortuna, consejos de actuación y guia y resultados esperados probables... así hasta 32 categorías diferentes. Genial. Es un libro que viene reimprimiéndose desde 1989 sin perder actualidad.
