This is an amazing product. I have used it this product on my knives and pistols for many years. I had to purchase a new cloth as I "wore out" the previous one. I have a large collection of current and vintage pocket knives and fixed blades. People are asking asking to see my collection. The Marine TUF-Cloth keeps my knives brilliantly shiny and without fingerprints or corrosion. If you store your knives and/or firearms for any length of time, you can rest assured that they will look incredible with no corrosion, tarnishing, or dulling. If the cloth begins to "dry out," you can saturate it with Sentry Solutions Marine TUF-Glide or pure mineral spirits. For the best results, wipe the knife or firearm with the TUF-Cloth and "allow it to dry" (this is somewhat subjective. Then I buff the knife or firearm with a microfiber cloth. This product is supposed to be very effective in preventing rust and corrosion in extreme salty or damp conditions. For the protection of your knives and/or firearms, it is well worth it at any price. PROS 1. Very easy to use with no significant mess; just remember to wash your hands well after use. 2. Cleans and lubricates metals protecting against corrosion, especially in extreme conditions and long-term storage. 3. Prevents fingerprint damage, prevents moisture accumulation, especially in storage, and prevents rust in all treated places. 4. Keeps your knife or firearm with a brilliant shine and without any dulling or tarnishing. CONS 1. Essentially NONE. 2. Irritating to eyes or pets eyes/mouths if you do not wash your hands well after using.

I carry my pistol in a hiked-up belly band holster a couple inches below my armpit, since carry at work is verboten. I have a physical job, so every day when I take it off, it is soaked with sweat. Since it does not have a finish that is very resistant to extreme conditions like some manufacturers use, I had to clean and re-oil it every day or two to keep the rust at a minimum, but even with this effort, it would always have some somewhere that I would have to remove with very fine steel wool. As soon as I got the Tuf Cloth, I did my usual cleaning and rust removal, and rubbed every part of the gun I could get to with this cloth. Whatever the chemical is, it works! There was ZERO rust on the weapon, even on the bare metal of the barrel, after weeks of daily wear in a sweaty, fat man's armpit. If you carry concealed anywhere that that your sweat may reach, and you like your gun, buy one of these. If any of your metal items are subjected to harsh conditions, buy one! There is plenty on the cloth to last for multiple applications on any number of items - guns, knives, whatever. Not that you'll need to reapply very often, though. Just to see how long a treatment would last, I wore the gun daily, and inspected it for rust, but did not clean it or repeat the treatment. After about a month, I noticed a little rust finally starting to form around the magazine release button. This area only got a cursory application since it is embedded in the plastic frame, so I suspect that proper application would stretch the time much longer.

Have been using this maker's TufGlide for about one year now (very effective results from only a few drops) and am now switching from silicone cloths to this product for knife and gun surface protection. I have some very high quality 100% cotton flannel "Ritz" cloths that can be saturated from this maker's liquid version of the Regular or Marine grade solutions (Regular available in either 4 OZ or 8 OZ pump spray bottles - Marine in 4 OZ only). Either the pre saturated cloths or the DIY cloths as described above must be stored in an air tight container to prevent this distillate from evaporating. Marine grade solution has additional additives for the harshest environments - its development is said to have been "on request from Navy SEALS". [Wash hands after using - do not touch your eyes of soft tissue until washing your hands. Clean surfaces to be treated with a proper residue free cleaner and wipe with rubbing alcohol prior to product application.]

This is simply the best stuff out there for preventing rust, oxidation and corrosion on your non-stainless steel items. Use it on your knives, guns and other steel items that you want to preserve and protect. Not as messy as oil and protects better but not as good of a lubricant as oil. Well worth every penny. This cloth comes loaded with marine TUF-GLIDE and ready to apply to your valuables. Slip the pouch in your pocket or bag when you are out exposed to the elements and weather.

Just got it. Opened and used it on a 1095 steel knife blade. Put it back inside a fresh ziplock to protect it. No idea how well it’ll do but that has a lot to do with how loyal to application I am. I just wanted to say that I got the more protective Marine version since I use it on my neck knives...which are under my shirt next to ME. It seemed like that kind of environment would need the best protection possible. Anyway, I live in Oregon where it’s typically wet...go to beach and its salty...go to the mountain and its snowy. It’s a dangerous rust facilitating world out there.

There was a hole in the bag upon arrival. Has dried out quickly, but Amazon gave a refund. Was able to try the product before it dried, and seemed to be good for knives.

All the above reviews are on the money for this product; I love it for my knives and carry guns. I've made the mistake of not washing my hands after handling blades, only to find out a few hours later, when rubbing an eye, that THIS STUFF STINGS BAD! Just remember to wash your hands well after using or touching the surfaces it has been used on. Oh, BTW, I was at a dog handling event and a few dog handling SEAL Team members where there with their dogs. I had just purchased this stuff, and remember it being marketed as being used by the SEALS, so I asked... sure enough, they use it on all their steel guns and knives before they store them in their ready kits. Very cool!

Great product for quick and simple maintenance of knives. I mainly use the Tuf-Cloth for carbon steel to prevent rust. The Tuf-Cloth is very easy to use. Wipe your tools with Tuf-Cloth and allow them to dry and you are done, very simple! I would recommend this product for tools and knives especially if you live in a humid area or live close to the ocean. I bought the TUF-Cloth marine version over the regular because I am next to the ocean in a highly humid environment. I have used the original Tuf-Cloth for years and figured I should try out the Marine version. I would definitely buy this again or for friends.

Très bon produit pour l'entretien des lames carbone. Le côté refermable de la poche est surévalué. Pour autant un ziplock règle le problème.

Unfassbar... Ich habe zwei der Tütchen bestellt um mein Werkzeug auch draußen ein wenig pflegen zu können. Erstens kamen keine Tütchen sondern die wenig luftdichten Plastikdosen und jetzt kommts....eine der Boxen war vollkommen leer. Kein Tuch garnix. Ich frage mich wie soetwas passieren kann, zumal man den Gewichtsunterschied deutlich merkt. Nachtrag, der Kaufpreis wurde erstattet.

Ottimo panno per la manutenzione di coltelli e armi, lascia una patina protettiva sull'utensile che lo protegge dalla ruggine. Confezione richiudibile per mantenere la soluzione sul prodotto. Lascia un po' d'olio sulle mani ma basta lavarle dopo l'uso
