Sturdy. Dummy door knob, this does not have the inner pieces of a regular door knob. I plan to use it on an out door gate, just to push and pull. It’s perfect for that. Reasonably priced. Looks great. Comes with two screws and a key however, I don’t know what it’s for. There is however a small hole on the side of the door knob. Looks like the key tip will fit in that area. I’m still unsure as to why.

This was a replacement for a different, existing knob. The back plate seems like it will make the item durable, but makes installation a little more difficult. The old knob allowed for a slight angle on the screws to make it easier to install around the knob itself. This knob's back plate essentially forces the screw to go straight in and makes it a little harder to screw in. Better for a new application were holes are being created for the first time. Existing holes for this job didn't align to the new knob (too close since previously angled screws). Still made it work and expect this to last for quite some time.

One of the key features I like about this lock is that you can unlock from the outside if a kid or elderly gets stuck. However, it still provides privacy and safety as a good quality door lock. Both sets I purchased were easy to install, have a nice weight to them, turn very easily, and lock without issue. I haven't had any issue with rattling or color wear over time.

Last house I had Baldwin knobs and was in maintenance nightmare costing over 200 bucks apiece.Believe it or not these work better and so far I haven’t had one adjustment.

I ordered this product once before and instead of getting a brass colored one I got one that was silver colored and it did not work for me at all so I ordered another one it didn't realize that the wrong one has been sent to me until it had been installed.
