Humble Math - 100 Days of Timed Tests: Addition and Subtraction: Grades K-2, Math Drills, Digits 0-20, Reproducible Practice Problems

My son started this math book series 4 years ago, a few months after he turned 5, when he was in kindergarten. He began with this book (Addition & Subtraction) and has been working through the series ever since, about 1-2 pages a day. Now, at age 9, he’s completed 9 books in the series, including topics like fractions, long division, and area and volume. He quickly passed his grade level in math and just kept going! I truly believe these books helped him get into the gifted class. His classmates even call him a “math genius,” and he’s so proud of himself. Now he started learning algebra, while reviewing other topics he has completed. This book doesn’t have much explanation on how to solve each problem, so I do need to teach him sometimes - but he rarely struggles. I think it’s very well designed for introducing new concepts to young kids in a simple and natural way. What I love most is how this daily habit has boosted his confidence and attitude toward learning. Spending just 10-20 minutes a day taught him that small efforts can make a big difference. I highly recommend this series - just encourage your child to do one page a day. It’s a simple routine that brings lasting results, both academically and personally!

These are good for short facts drills. They don't need to be used as a timed, stress filled drill. They are great for practicing facts, helping with memorizing facts. I don't ever time the students I feel they need to understand the math not hate that others finish first. Builds confidence in math when the student is challenging their own last score.

These are great for homeschool kiddos that want a little extra practice on math memorization! They're printed well and the answers are in the back for easy and quick checking by parents. I like that they have a spot to record your time and score each day so you can see how your child progresses from day to day.

I didn't realise it would all be one digit sum rather than double digit.

Good for Math.. used it to train my girl in Math

Perfect for homeschooling or additional practice. 5-8 year range seems right. Good for a 5 old learning, but also good for a time race for an 8 year old.
