If you're not in the US, maybe they will know to wire it differently, but I wouldn't count on it. Why don't you contact the company, and ask them? It's a very nice unit, very well made, and has performed beautifully for me. So, it would be worth adding an adapter to make it work with your 240v system, if you need to. Very smooth on the inside for easy cleaning. No smell to speak of like the other reviewer. Holds temperature great but the only thing you have to watch out for is when you have the door open for a bit then close it the temperature spikes high a couple of degrees. So I partially close the door until the temperature stabilizes then shut it all the way. Other then that I am satisfied with it. I purchased this after my female cockatiel died knowing papa would need some ‘help’ raising the eggs she left behind. It’s been a blessing! Set up was pretty easy and so far it’s been super reliable! It’s been running constantly with very little breaks. After their raised I intend to keep it or lend it out to animal rescue friends for emergency care.Note: the eggs in my picture are fake, just there to keep the baby comfortable.
