Movo SMM1 Microphone Shock Mount with Camera Cold Shoe for Shotgun Microphones 19-25mm in Diameter (Including Rode NTG-1, NTG-2, Sennheiser MKE-600)

The rubber band suspension design is classic, and if it ain’t broke don’t fix it,( as they say. I review many items, when it comes to camera gear I try get my opinion in front of budget and high end gear. That said I removed my audio technical mic from its shock style stand, and put it in this new one. I used it on run and guns, both HDSLR, and IPhone X/ iPhone 7plus, (I utilized a digital recorder with the later 2 for quality and storage issues). It did it’s job well, I can’t say I Mind the beefier looking rig either. There are SEVERAL EXTRA TENSION BANDS, and instructions, the tilt swivel cold shoe attach works fine. Hold sturdy, is well built, **** in general, not even just for a dirt cheap mic shock absorber, but for a cinema rig tension ring, microphone shock absorber. A+ buy!!!

Lost the original mount I had on my Rode NTG Video mic this was the perfect replacement. Only wish it was a bit shorter so my mic can stick out from the other end. It sometimes pushes threw the middle and becomes lose but over great quality and does everything I need it or do.

For the price, I was expecting something cheaply built, but this far exceeded my expectations. Metal parts are smooth and deburred, with an excellent matte finish. Plastic parts are very well made. Even the rubber rings seem to be better than "cheapest possible material." It just barely fits a Shure SM57/58, but it does fit, and provides pretty good shock rejection with an absolutely minimal size. Also works well on a 19mm shotgun microphone. And it comes with a nice hot shoe adapter. Overall, excellent value for the price.

Using this with a Synco D2 shotgun mic and it fits securely. Appreciate the extra rubber bands that are included (they're much, much nicer than actual rubber bands!). The mount is intended for a camera shoe, but you can easily unscrew that. Depending on the kind of mic stand thread you have, you might need an additional adapter. This one works well: XINJUE 2 Pieces,(brass) 3/8"-16 External thread, to 5/8" -27 internal thread adapter.

I picked this up because I needed something cheap and quick and this fit the bill. It does the job fine and for the price its hard to complain. Just understand that it is half the price of anything else for a reason. The plastic is thin and cheap and I really don't expect it to last more than a couple months in the field. However, it does the job and at a cheap price.

Not much more I can say other than it works like a charm. It fits the flash shoe at the top of my DSLR and has the ability to be screwed onto a mono-pod to be used as a boom when push comes to shove, it keeps the mic stable enough that you don't get movement noise from the gear which is a huge plus, and the reason I got this piece of gear in the first place. If you're new to the video game this is one of those things that are a must.

The shock mount end of things is just fine, even comes with both tr headings for the base, and an extra set of elastics which is very cool. Held a Sennheiser boom no problem, nice and secure and I did not pick up any rumble. The screw for adjusting the angle of the head is the weak point, I will get around to modding it on my own to strengthen that.

I looked at a few cheaper items but found this to be a great fit for budget-friendly and durability. It takes some tightening and placement to lock in the position you want but once its mounted on the hotshoe, I didn't have any faults. I used an Audio-Technica AT875R, which is under 7" so this was a perfect fit. Longer shotgun mics may need to be centered for balance.

this is great really helps out during shoots when I don't have crews. Just attach it to a light stand and good to go.

Hasta ahora me ha funcionado muy bien, sujeta debidamente el micrófono y absorbe los movimientos del boom pole e incluso algunos golpes leves, sin que sean perceptibles en el audio. Imagino que hay mucho mejores pero el precio se dispara considerablemente. Si eres un entusiasta y tu presupuesto no te permite hacer una inversión más fuerte, te recomiendo este shock mount siempre y cuando el micrófono que uses no sea extremadamente sensible vibraciones

Well made for the price, comes with spare rubber bands. I like the removable shoe and thread adaptor which allows you to attach it to most things
