Sweet
I was a bit hesitant about buying this Artic Silver for my older laptop processor, but there was no need to worry. I rebuilt an old laptop and had to replace the prior compound on the chips. I cleaned the chips really well with alcohol and waited for them to dry. Put this compound on and it works great. This laptop used to push out so much heat, now barely anything. Great product, easy to use and Amazon pricing is awesome!Update: Since I have a large tube of this I figured I would change the compound on another laptop that is running very hot. I replaced with this compound and the laptop is running cooler. Great product.

Good healthy size tube for a very low price
This thermal paste is a pretty good deal especially since the size to price ratio is greater than most thermal paste on the market today. I bought this thermal paste to be applied to the GPU and the CPU to my Playstation 3. The PS3 has been known to be a great source of heat and can often overheat to the point where it breaks. Before I applied it, the fans would kick on pretty loudly. However, after I applied it to my PS3, it was dead silent. I downgrade PS3 to make a small buck or two. Being able to say I can replace thermal paste helps my sales. With this product, I can replace the thermal paste to multiple PS3s on the cheap. I highly recommend this thermal paste to someone who needs to use thermal paste often but doesn't want to pay up a fortune for thermal compound.

A lot for your money
This syringe should allow you to install a good number of processors for the money. There's not much else included with the product, but if you go to the manufacturer's website, there are detailed instructions for this particular product based on each and every type of CPU. They explain how to apply it, how much to apply, and what the heat transfer properties are. This particular compound has a break in period and does best with cycles of on and off to allow it to heat up and cool down before you get optimal heat transfer. From the start, the thermal transfer was pretty good. As time goes by, I'll continue to monitor the processor's temperature. If what the manufacturer says is true, I expect the processor temperature to go down over the next few days to several weeks under similar loads. If not, I'll update this review to reflect that.

Good buy when it comes in one piece...
Love me some Arctic Silver!!! Too bad the tube had the tip broken off. It was shipped in a plastic bag inside of a cardboard box. There was no damage to the box but the tip and cap were broken off and the compound was leaking into the bag. It's still usable, but not sealable, and not worth the hassle of returning.

Best Thermal Compound bar none
I have tried all sorts of other products on the market. Some barely work, but comparing this product to the next best thing (my opinion and tests) the result is that using this product greatly increases the efficiency of the heat transfer and for the types of server product my small business creates, it reduces the CPU temperature by 2 to 8 Degrees Centigrade compared to the next best thing and does not deteriorate with time. You only use this stuff once. Yes it is expensive, in fact probably the most expensive on the market, but compared to a $450 CPU it is peanuts so if you want great performance and long life from your CPU, use the best. I never use anything else.

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM OUTLETPC
This is the first review I've ever written. I often buy products from Amazon but I never write reviews. OutletPC has given me several reasons to give other Amazon customers fair warning. I have no clue if this is a quality product or not. When my thermal grease order arrived at my house there were parts of the tube missing and the grease was all over the tube. OutletPC sent me a product that anybody could tell was obviously broken. When I asked for a refund they said they would give me a refund for the grease but they would not pay for shipping. This means after I got my refund I would have spent the exact same amount of money and the only thing I would have would be the stress and discontent I was feeling. I sent them a letter demanding they pay for my shipping. They reluctantly agreed because they claim that they want their customers to be 100% satisfied. This leads to what may ironically be the biggest issue. It seems that OutletPC’s biggest concern is getting positive feedback from their customers. The shipping order states that they want all their happy customers to give them a positive review. The shipping order also states that if customers are in any way not satisfied then they should contact OutletPC so the store can try all they can to somehow satisfy the customer enough to leave a positive review. Every time I spoke to OutletPC they spent more time trying to talk me into leaving a positive review than replying to my letters. After I spent more time convincing OutletPC to give me a full refund than I had spent purchasing the thermal grease and waiting for my order to arrive OutletPC started sending emails to my personal email account. I do not know how they gained access to my personal email. Every two or three days they send an email to my personal account asking me to give them a positive review. They never gave me a reason to leave positive feedback. The only reason I had not left negative feedback before was because they (reluctantly) gave me a full refund on my order. This is the only positive feedback I will leave. After this ordeal ended I purchased Arctic Silver Ceramique Premium High Density Thermal Compound from another seller on Amazon. The seller sent the compound properly, I used it on my computer, and I am very satisfied with the compound. If Outlet PC focused more on quality service instead of spending all their time stalking their customers then perhaps we would be more inclined to leave positive feedback.

Good stuff
Review update. This is not the same as the old white junk as I originally thought, I jumped to conclusions. This stuff actually works great and is what I use for 90% of my work. I still use the Silver for items that are known to have overheating problems (PS3, xbox 360, laptops from the "Vista era", etc) but for the most part I use this stuff on most of the computers that come in and I do not have any issues with it at all and it saves me money. This is a reason I try to keep things for a while before I write a review on it but I did not do that this time and actually forgot about it until the comment.
