Very good mouse for the price
The mouse is a tad heavier than I expected, but after removing the inner weight it's fine. If you are looking for a lightweight gaming mouse, this is a very good choice. Fairly good shape, it lets you grip the mouse so it doesn't slide out of your hand even if it gets sweaty. The surface coating also makes it grippy. Sensor is great, no skipping even when moving it at a fairly quick speed. Buttons are extremely nice, responsive and clicky. The one downside so far are the feet. The top ones are too small and drag on my mousepad (Razer Goliathus Control). They actually set in after 4 or 5 days of use and slide a lot better now, though, so it's not too big of a problem. Cord is also not great, but not a problem if you have a bungee.Overall I suggest this mouse to anyone who wants to enter the gaming mouse market but doesn't want to spend too much, and for people like me who prefer lightweight mice.

legendary mouse, best value there is.
pretty much the best mouse you can buy at this price, and I would not suggest buying any mouse that is cheaper as you will regret it. this is THE budget mouse to get, and even for professional FPS gamers this mouse can perform just as well as any other. the shape is legendary, and the sensor is phenomenal. the sensor in the g303 is a tad better, but definitely can't complain about this mouse in any way. it's very light and maneuverable. it's not the sturdiest mouse ever but at this price the build quality is better than you would expect.

Not as feature heavy as my Steelseries rival but it is better.
Not as feature heavy as my Steelseries rival but it is better.First off it doesn't have1. Side buttons (Rival has 2)2. Very ergonomic grip (It isn't bad feeling but it doesn't form to the hand like a rival)3. 1000hz mouse polling (Rival has 1000hz over the 500hz of the G100s)4. 30 Million click life span (Rival has 30 million click lifespan while the G100s only has 20 Million)5. 1ms Input time (Rival has 1ms instead of 2ms input time)And even over that it is still better than a Steelseries Rival and it is cheap by 40USD. It feels more responsive and lasted me longer than my Rival did. I returned the RIval 3 times before I had one that worked and even over that it only worked for 3 months. The G100s is by far the best budget mouse. It will beat any mouse except for other, more expensive Logitech mice. And not only will the Logitech mice beat any other mice, so will their customer service.

A dream mouse turned nightmare
I originally bought a new keyboard/mouse combo but the mouse was much too big for my hands (small male). After doing some research online I found this to be the best size/quality/price point for what I was going to do with it. I do some gaming (but not enough to require extra mouse buttons) and the Logitech G100s fit the bill perfectly.I've owned Logitech products in the past (as well as their Japanese division products, Logicool) so I was confident in the product. When the mouse first arrived it worked like a charm. Small, light and responsive it was really great. However, three months later, I've run into a slew of problems. The left click sometimes does not work. This is a recent and rare occurrence but I'm afraid it may increase in frequency. I'd say it happens once every few hundred clicks. I then have to apply quite a bit of pressure on the left click to make it register then it works fine again. The right click registers multiple clicks. On a single click it will register multiple clicks; this isn't always the case but it happens pretty often and it very annoying. The mouse wheel will sometimes travel a half click and scrolling with it becomes awkward until it rights itself. This is the least of the mouse's problems.I rarely leave reviews on Amazon but I am rather disappointed with this product. For regular daily use such as surfing the internet or word processing or what-have-you it's mostly fine. Most of the problems are not a big deal. For gaming, though -- the reason why I bought this mouse -- it's no good.Edit:After talking with customer support they had me change the USB port it was plugged into and also delete and redownload the drivers for the mouse. Surprisingly, this fixed the double-click problem with the right click (I thought maybe the contacts inside the mouse were just messed up but I guess it was a driver issue?). After the support call was over I found that I am still having problems with the left click; I think it might be a hardware problem.Edit 2:After e-mailing customer service once again (on the e-mail they sent me with my instance ticket) I have not received any contact. The left click button is worse and unless I click on a very specific section of the left click it will not register a click. The size and the feel of this mouse is great but it just doesn't work.

Meh
Weird mouse. I had two of them. One arrived with defective wheel, and was sent back immediately. The second worked for half a year, and then left button started to miss clicks or double click randomly. Because G100s was discontinued Logitech replaced mine with G300s.Pros:+light symmetric mouse+I like this type of grip+good performance for FPS gamesCons:-died quickly-feels cheapConclusion:I had several Logitech mice before: MX300, MX310, MX400. I liked all of them a lot. And they served me well about 5 years each. But this G100s just failed hard. Maybe I was just unlucky. But still I do not recommend this particular model.

Failed after ~8 months
This mouse is cheap, sturdy, and fits my hand perfectly. I started noticing the left click doesn't always register though. I'm giving it another try because it's relatively cheap and fits my hand well, but if it fails again I'll probably never buy any Logitech products for the next decade or two.
