THE Best Mesh Laundry Bags for Silk and Delicates
These are absolutely THE BEST mesh laundry bags I've ever owned. I don't particularly care for smaller mesh bags even for very small items. I prefer the larger bags. They are easier to keep up with and can hold small item(s) or larger item(s). These laundry bags are very high quality and well made. They are very large compared to other bags out there. They are sturdy and appear to be durable enough to last a long time. I use these for delicate items that require hand washing. Instead of hand washing my items I use these bags in the delicate cycle of my washing machine. These are ESPECIALLY important when washing SILK. I don't use silk sheets but I do use silk pillowcases. REAL silk pillowcases aren't available on Amazon. They are quite expensive, which is why I absolutely recommend using a high quality laundry bag to wash them (along with a delicate washing detergent made to wash silk - a little goes a long way and lasts a long time). This bag does NOT snag my silk pillowcases. They are washed well and rinsed well leaving no soapy residue which can happen with smaller laundry bags. I not only love the size of this bag, durability and snag free material, but also the zipper that DOES NOT RUST! The zipper itself is strong. I haven't had any issues with it coming unzipped during the washing process. The zipper pull is also made so that it will not rust. However, this rust free feature takes nothing away from the strength and quality of the zipper or zipper pull. There is a hanging loop just inside one corner of each bag to hang it to dry. I love that they didn't forget that feature! You shouldn't place your laundry bags in the dryer. You want to hang them to dry so they are fresh and ready to go for your next use. I usually zip the bags back up and hang them to dry on a pants hanger in the laundry room, but there are those occasions when I'm in a rush that the hanging loop is perfect or when traveling. I've had no problems with my delicate items getting stuck or tangled in the loop either. It's out of the way inside the bag and made of a soft almost ribbon like material - not a cord or rope like material. This is VERY important when washing silk. You don't want to wash ANYTHING with silk that's rough or made of a material that will "rough up" the silk fabric. If you do so you just ruin the expensive silk material. These bags make washing my silk pillowcases a breeze, not a hassle or headache like other bags on the market. These bags eliminate the process of "hand washing" items because the delicate cycle on the washer works just fine using these bags instead of actually hand washing. I highly recommend these bags to anyone who has many pieces that are for hand wash only or delicate cycle only. I will be purchasing another set soon! These are also great to use for traveling. I can put my delicate items in these bags to prevent snags from other items. They're great for swimsuits, lingerie, spanx, kimonos, silk items, etc. These bags are also easy to use when traveling when you DO need to hand wash something. (I try to avoid hand washing items when I travel but sometimes it's a necessity if you go for a long trip, are trying to pack light and need to reuse an item or the worst - you spilled something on a very delicate item and it needs to be washed ASAP.) The bags keep you from being too rough with the material when you hand wash them, stretching things out or snagging them with fingernails (that ALWAYS happens to me). When traveling and hand washing is absolutely required I simply place the item in the mesh bag and use just a small dot of laundry detergent for delicates. I "hand wash" my items in the shower - not submerged in the sink or tub of a strange place. Who wants someone else's left behind cooties on their delicate items? This is the easiest way to do it when you travel! Wash and rinse the item while still in the bag with the shower going. It's super easy and done in no time. If you don't NEED to wash your delicates when you travel you can also use the bags to place your dirty, delicate items into again to avoid them getting rubbed against rougher materials that ruin silk or other delicate materials. My personal preferences: If you're interested in using quality silk pillowcases I highly recommend "Slip" Pure Silk Pillowcases. They are sold individually, not as a set and come in a great variety of colors. I also recommend "The Laundress" Delicate Wash - washing detergent for your silk or other delicate clothing items (lingerie, bras, spanxs, etc). The bottle looks like a bottle of shampoo. A little goes A LONG WAY. I trust this brand for silk much more than cheaper brands on the market for delicate items. There are a variety of scents to choose from based on what you prefer. These are just my PERSONAL recommendations. I'm not getting paid or getting anything at a discount to share my preferences. I truly trust these brands, purchase them at FULL PRICE myself and use them almost daily (especially the pillowcases).

A year after purchase, these are sturdiest, easiest to use bags in my laundry routine
I was prompted to write a review of the 3-pack of MEDIUM mesh laundry bags today when I observed to myself this morning how happy I am with them. I'm a mom with two teens in a multi-generational household of six people; I do a lot of laundry. My Amazon history tells me I ordered the AURFLO mesh bags on November 11, 2019. "AURFLO Mesh Laundry Bag-Set of 3 Medium" bags are some of my most used. Because of the very clear, distinct color difference of the zippers and good-sized tags, I assigned each to a different family member for socks. This saves me tons of time as far as sorting and putting away clothes goes. Size "Medium" from AURFLO compares to "large" bags I've purchased elsewhere. The Medium AURFLO bag would accommodate a fairly bulky cotton or wool sweater for an average woman or a small man. Some of us in my family wear wool socks, so we each carefully hang our own socks to dry when our bag comes out of the washer. Others prefer cotton- and synthetic- rich athletic socks that air dry too slowly; those go from washing machine to dryer still in the bag. Regardless of the care needed, my teens can easily take responsibility for putting their own socks away because they stay sorted in each kid's color-assigned bag. I'm much better at washing the clothes than putting them away, so this is a huge win for Mom! Upon receipt, I thought these AURFLO mesh bags felt sturdier than many of my other laundry bags. (I have at least a dozen mesh bags purchased from various sources over the years, from discount stores to over-priced impulse buys at Nordstrom or The Container Store.) The AURFLO mesh is a bit stiffer than many other bags. While one reviewer feels these "stick to" clothes, that has not been my observation. Then again, I use these for socks, which is the one item of clothing where I don't wear a lot of silk. (Silk is the most delicate fabric that I wash; I wear silk long underwear almost every day in the winter.) Only upon close inspection today did I realize that some of the micro-mesh (finest weave) between the larger, "macro-mesh" holes of my bag do appear to be wearing out. The larger, "macro" holes are still eminently sufficient to protect the socks I wash in these, but this could be an issue for someone using laundry bags to hold bras or other items with hook and eye fasteners. This pattern of wear COULD mean those little metal hooks could attack other items in a load of laundry. The Medium AURFLO bag is really too large to use as a bag for an individual bra, however; I'd recommended smaller bags or a sectioned multi-bra bag for those particularly delicate (and dangerous to other item) garments. In spite of the visible wear on my neon-greenish-yellow zipper bag, I remain very satisfied with these as a set. The only wear I found is on a bag used approximately twice a week in a hot machine wash and hot machine dry by a teenager. The bags I use on a similar schedule for wool socks (delicate warm wash and very rare low heat damp dry in machine) do not show any such wear. On all three bags, the zippers move easily and remain firmly attached. No holes that affect functionality have developed in my bags. By comparison, I purchased two other brand laundry mesh bags in the same order last November. One of those, the "Household Essentials 130 Polyester Mesh Hosiery Wash Bag", disappoints me a little every time I use it because its quality is lower than that of an older bag I own in a similar style. The other set bought last year, a 3-pack of "Plusmart Bra Laundry Bag, Mesh Laundry Bag for Delicates, Bra Washing Bag for D to G Cup,3 Pack ", has had one zipper failure (33% of the set already thrown away.) The AURFLO mesh bags cost about twice as much when I bought these three types last year; they have been worth at least twice the price and would be the first brand I'd consider if I needed to buy again.

Great quality and good value for money
After researching at length on Amazon, these are good quality. Very easy to use, material holds up and washing machine, and no problems whatsoever with the zipper Both of these extra large laundry bags are the perfect size and quite durable. perfectly for my 3 medium size bathroom floor mats.

Durable, zips easily, perfect size
I love these bags! 1. Fabric mesh is not super sheer and the weave is very durable. It doesn't catch on my clothes and isn't snagging. 2. The pleated bottom of the bag is very useful. I am able to get more clothes into the bag because of it (although I do try to keep to less than 1/2 full on the bag to allow enough room for the clothes to properly clean). 3. Colored zippers are a nice idea. I have 4 different sizes of lingerie bags (aka, mesh laundry bags). Unfortunately, the fabric's mesh pattern for this size is an exact match for my HUGE bags (for heavy sweaters). Because this size has the colored zippers, it's easy to grab the right size. 4. Zipper problems? No, I have had NO PROBLEMS WITH THE ZIPPER. I write this in caps because that was the #1 complaint I saw on other reviews. The zippers are very smooth-working and tuck nicely into the edge piece that helps keep it zipped while it's in the washing machine. That said, I almost never put these in the dryer because what goes in the bags usually can't handle the heat and abuse of the dryer. I've been using bags like this for over 40 years. I highly recommend these bags in this size. Very versatile.

Disappointed one broke but good enough to buy more.
I LOVED THESE BAGS i use laundry bags for something in almost every wash load. I would have given a perfect score across all but one of the larger bags, the zipper just broke. It didn't snag or get stuck. It broke after maybe 6 weeks. Scrolling through my past orders, I decided to put up this review. I am disappointed but will buy more. Because other then that one useless bag the rest are my all time favorites. I love the added touch of hanging loop inside the bag to hang up bag empty when wet. Very smart to stitch it inside the bag.

Fantastic laundry bags
Update 2/2020: I wanted to leave seller feedback in particular, but that button is nowhere to be found. But they are GREAT at resolving customer concerns. I had an issue with one of my second set of bags, and they responded to my email immediately and we had it resolved to my complete satisfaction very quickly. My oldest bags are now 2 1/2 years old, get used every single time laundry gets done, and they are still in perfect condition. This is in all kinds of washes (delicate, regular, heavy fabrics) and all temperatures. Front load washer. We do not put the bags in the dryer typically, so those who do may see them wear more quickly just like any fabric product will. But when we have used them in a dryer, there have been no issues whatsoever. UPDATE 7/2018: I use these every wash and I love them. They softened after using them a few times and I wish they made these in other sizes (smaller sizes). I use them mostly in the washer but have used them in the dryer also. No issues at all. Best laundry bags I've ever had, hands down. Original review 10/2017: Have used these once and so far, I have to say they seem well made & strong. We'll see how they hold up. If they don't hold up well, I'll post a follow up, but so far I'm happy. I do like the way the zipper can be tucked away so I don't worry about it harming my other loose clothes. The mesh is fine enough that I don't have to worry about things snagging the mesh which is an issue with my older bags. I think they key is to make sure you don't overload the machine so water can flow through your laundry & allow a longer cycle if you are using these for the same reason - they are going to present a slight barrier between your clothes & the washing. I run my laundry on presoak and stain cycles anyway as I've found my clothes get cleaner that way (front loader machine).

Zipper didn't get hot, Great
Used these for first time today. Works great, still gets clean inside the bag. Like the tucking zipper. Didn't even get hot.

The Jumbo size can hold its own
I bought 2 Jumbo and 2 Medium sized bags. First, this product is awesome, far exceeding my expectations. The zippers are sturdy and can stand up to zipping and cycle in the wash and dryer. The jumbo one can hold up to 5 King-sized sheets comfortably, and can probably hold more but I wanted some room in the bag for a good clean wash. In the washing machine, the sheets do not bunch up so I never had to stop the machine and redistribute the weight. The Medium can hold about 2 king-sized sheets and 4 pillow cases. I have to change the way the sheets sit in the bag for drying as taking them straight from the washer to the dryer didn't give me a completely dry sheet. I'm just going to rearrange how they are in the bag for the dryer and that should solve my problem. They are sturdy no shedding, fringing, or unraveling, they stack well in the washer and dryer, after a few cycles they are as if I've just taken them out of the package. Really happy with this product and will purchase two more, they have saved me headaches and saved time in washing and drying sheets. I was looking for something like this for a long time.

Was looking for extra large wash bags, very happy with quality
I was looking for extra large size wash bags for my husband's dress shirts. These are a great size for them and also I can put my jackets in them to wash, even day sized backpacks. The quality is very good and the zipper is metal, I expect to have them for at least a decade (probably more). I'm looking to buy another set but the price has doubled! I purchased a set in Sept 2017 from amazon.ca for $15.99, currently $33. Since I'll be travelling to the US soon, I plan to order them from amazon.com (currently $14.99 US) and send them to my hotel, with the exchange rate, it'll come to about $22 (has free shipping too). I also wish there were smaller sizes on the amazon websites. I've visited the aurflo website and it appears they have other sizes, but they only sell on amazon, so I'm perplexed.

The mesh itself is made from superior material. Soft yet strong
This product was delivered quickly. The mesh itself is made from superior material. Soft yet strong. It offers protection to my wardrobe and delicates. I like the feature where i can tuck the zipper in small pocket. I plan to bring it for my travels as it can be used for dirty clothes bag. I think this product will last for a long time since it's from good quality and durable material. In short I'm quite pleased with this purchase.
