WizKids D&D Attack Wing: Wave Two - Aarakocra Troop Expansion Pack

Usually prepainted minis are full of oddities and poor quality finish, however most of the Attack Wing series I own are uniform and matching in both form and paint schemes.

I have been buying Paizo and WoTC miniatures for a long time now, and maybe it's just me...but WoTC miniatures have been getting more and more amazing as the releases continue while the Paizo ones seem to be losing their appeal. These are an older release, but they are absolutely comparable to the latest ones from the Storm King's Thunder (or, should I say, the other way around). The sculpts and paint jobs on these are great. I may not need 6 of these, but its better to have too many than not enough. I did re-base them onto black round bases instead of the clear square ones they came with, but that was personal preference.

I got these to use for the tabletop D&D role-playing game, and the only thing I don't like about these is the bases - they are large (1.75" squares) and thus do not fit well in the 1" squares for D&D battle maps. Otherwise, they are great miniatures!

Item just as described but the included cards, tiles, and tokens are not pictured in the main picture. Item is packed in heavy duty clam shell packaging...difficult to open but excellent it you are collecting and want to display. A very fun game to play and the figures look right at home among the other D&D miniatures.

I only use the pack for the figures. Because of this, I'm generous with the rating, so to speak. The quality of the pieces is fine, with the need to remold parts here and there. Since I don't use the pack for the Attack Wing game, I won't detract from its rating on that account. So, be fully aware I am pleased with the models, but know nothing of the Attack Wing game.

very detailed design. Base is a bit to big for the figure, but still works great.

So the mini itself is 5 stars but it didn’t come with the pegs for the bases so I had to make my own.

These miniatures are excellent. The detail is great and the quality is clearly superior. I received them ahead of scheduled delivery, which also worked out very well. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
