First impression out the box I was amazed. Putting it together was fun. Looking at all the pieces figuring out what does what also. Until the knife part. At first I thought it did not thread on correctly and why is the threading plastic and not metal like everything else? After assembly was completed the weight is comfortable. I were a XL glove and after gripping the handle it dose feel solid in the hand. The textured grip feels good. My next concern is when I use it. How much of a swing can I put behind it before malfunction.

I really like this axe. Compact to bring on camping trips and hikes and has a good group of tools. However, after using it less than 5 times, the neck of the axe broke. I emailed the company and they responded immediately with a replacement. I’m hoping this one will be a little more reliable.

excellent buy, light weight and easy to assemble and takes you little space in the back pack

I have used this for a while... I bring this with me everytime I go camping. I like the fact that this axe has multiple other tools inside it, and it is very compact to only take a little space in my camping box. It is a small hand axe and you cannot split big chuck of woods... but it is enough to cut small branches or purchased firewoods into smaller pieces.

Comes with gadgets. Grip is terrible; round, rough, hard to get a good grip.

A Great multifunctional survival item for short hikes, and a must for camping, and hunting! This is a multifunctional survival axe with 1 of the waterproof sections open for storing additional items, such as super glue, neosporin, Fishing line and hooks, etc. Would have liked to see the base threads of the knife to be made of metal as opposed to plastic (be mindful not to cross thread) axe and knife come with decent edges on them, but it is a good idea to sharpen both a little but more. Other than that, an excellent product.

The axe and knife are sharp, and there are storage spots and waterproof seals, but the knife is a bit small, and the whistle isn’t good.

Nice and versatile tool. One drawback. The base thread of the knife is plastic. So the inner knife can be only used for very light cuts and even then, probably it will break quite fast. A pity, as otherwise it is a nice tool.

This is definitely a go to tool. It is the most handy tool when on the go camping or just for a drive in the bush. Easy to pack up and handle.
