Moving Day! (Helping Hands Series) Paperback – December 1, 2011

Lovely book that helped our three-year-old son understand our recent move. I bought it hoping it would familiarize him with the process of moving so he wouldn't be as nervous about the boxes in our house. I didn't have high expectations, but I was amazed at the result. Not only did he beg me to read the book over and over, but he pointed out parts of the story as we did and excitedly talked about his "new house" and "put boxes in the truck!" By the time WE had a truck, he really got it. Wow!The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is a little hard to follow because of how it jumps from each character's perspective without notice or speech tags, but that's a nit-picky thing. It's a sweet story and was very helpful with our move. I highly recommend it!

My 1 and 3 year olds really enjoyed this book. When it came time to pack they knew what was happening and didn’t flip out when we had to pack there toys. It also got them really excited to participate.

This book has been great to help my almost 3 year old with the transition of moving. He asks for it every night. The sentences are simple enough that he's memorized many of the pages.

Kind of a random book, but my son likes it and it did help him understand how the moving process would go.

Good book for little one who are in the moving process.

Reading the reviews I was excited to get this book to explain to my child about moving. I can say that I was completely disappointed and let down. The book did not explain much beyond packing.

I bought this for my 5 year old but it's really meant for 4 years and younger. Nice story though

helpful for small kids moving...confusing to move, scary and sometimes very upsetting...this book treats moving as a family chore, with helpful hints, and sweet illustrations...grandkids liked it

Could have been a little more in depth, but My son liked it and it helped us discuss moving day
