Earpads for Sony WH-1000XM2

I purchased these replacement pads 1 yr ago after much fretting about which pads to get. These are comfortable, acceptable quality, 'seal' sufficiently without feeling like I'm in a vice (even with glasses), and feel similar enough to the OEM Sony pads. But TBH, it was hard to do a fair pad comparison when the originals were thoroughly worn out and likely formed to my skull. After a year of heavy use the left pad is still in perfect condition. The right pad, however, developed a tear a month ago along the inner seam (probably from rough handling) that quickly grew its way around the entire foam ring which has now been fully released from its pleather cocoon. It still works fine, sounds fine, and feels fine. Just looks kinda sad. I reordered a pair of these pads today. Go for it, they're worth it.

Not exactly the same as the originals, but a good alternative. Comfortable, and easy to install. My impression is the seal over the ear isn't the same, so the noise cancelling is somewhat impacted. Since the OEM replacement pads aren't available (and were $60 when they were) I think these are fine alternatives to get continued life out of our XM2 headphones.

Bought a pair of these after getting the Dekonis, which very distinctly changed the sound signature and decreased noise cancelling ability on the high end. I'm quite happy with the quality of these. They're thick enough to take the pressure off my earlobes, and they don't negatively alter the sound signature or noise cancellation on my XM2s. My OEM pads started to become uncomfortable after about a year or so of daily 9-5 use, so if these last around that time I'll be happy and wouldn't mind purchasing them again at their price point. Edit: 3 years after purchase -- I hadn't worn the headphones in a few months and picked them up and was surprised to see the pleather degrading. It's flaking slightly and has a tacky feel. Cleaning with a damp paper towel seems to have gotten the sticky residue off, but the pads are no longer completely smooth to the touch. They still work, however I'm guessing they will continue to degrade.

Noice cancellation is not that great. I still heard overhead music at the gym and when I cut my grass with my lawnmower. Fits comfortable and easily cleans with my cloth. Glad I was able to find the model number I needed for my Sony headset. Good overall for my needs.

I replaced both earpads of my MDR-1000X with these, overall the process was pretty simple once you figure out how to pop out the old ones (tip: use a butter knife.. search youtube for walkthrough). It was a bit tricky to align the clips and snap them all in place, but I found that if I aligned the top and bottom and snapped those in first, it's a lot easier to connect the other ones. After it's all clipped in, verify by tugging at the cushion a bit to see if the base comes loose at all. Color is a dark charcoal gray, almost black but not quite. Looks great IMO.

I have purchased 7 different ear pads and for the price these are the best.I wanted to wait longer before i wrote a review but this is the first review of these particular ear pad and I wanted to spread the word.I bought the pair in June i wear headphones 5-6 hours a day and no wear yet

This is a third party replacement part, and it is not exactly like the original, BUT IT'S WORTH trying. Pros: 1. Noise cancellation seems the same 2. Sound quality seems the same 3. Comfort level seems the same Cons: 1. Foam seems a bit harder and thinner, but maybe that's because it's using memory foam, and the original did not. Strangely, this makes the headphone seems lighter, like it's the WH-1000XM3. Not sure if this is a Con or Pro for some people. Maybe the foam they use require them to use less of it. To be clear, there's no discomfort, but you should expect the foam material to feel different. These replacement earpads are a great value. GIVE THEM A TRY. Can return them if they don't fit your ears, but I doubt that you will; because for this price, you can just hang onto them as spare earpads in case you need them in emergency.

If you search online for replacement earpads you'll find no other option, dekoni or whatever, so this was all that I could go for, but in international stores, the price of replacement earpads ranges from 20 to 60 USD and this product is priced at around 3.5k with the remaining cost being used for the shipping cost (since this comes from US). It fits, sounds well, and as is mentioned in reviews in other countries, it does make the headphone feel lighter and gives more space for your ears as well. Recommended. PS: I contacted their customer care (through amazon only) and they responded promptly (within 1 working day) to my multiple queries about globalshyp tracking being under construction and queries about shipping cost, etc.

価格と着け心地良好です。 耐久性は1年1ヶ月ほどで写真の様に破れて中のスポンジが露出してしまいました。 また1年ほどで耳に当たる部分の皮もポロポロ崩れてきました。 本体ほど高価ではないので、後継機購入までの一時凌ぎとして購入するなら悪くないと思います。

安価で最適

純正よりクッション性は劣りますが、値段からすると適正かと思います。 問題なく使えています。
