Simple solution to a a needed tasting to keep your espresso tasting fresh by washing the group head screen and lines. Easy to use, just replace the coffee baske on your portafilter with this backflush basket, add a descaler/detergent pill to the basket, install The portafilter’s grouphead and pull 3-4 5 second shots, remove the portafilter and let the machine flush the detergent by running a shot without the portafilter. Value for tge money on this e61 basket!

I have a Rancilio Silvia that's about three years old. The blind portafilter basket works great - better than the rubber / silicone alternative. My nephew has a Rancilio Silvia that is about 25 years old. The blind portafilter basket is ever so slightly the wrong size for his machine, allowing significant leakage when he tries to back flush it. However, the rubber / silicone insert does a marvelous job for his older machine.

Very nice quality, edges are smooth. makes it much easier to backflush rather than using the rubber disk insert in a regular basket.

Worked a treat

Espresso machines should come with these by default! I keep my machine clean by doing a couple flushes immediately after pulling a shot but it will be a lot easier and better with this now.

So much better than the rubber insert that comes with the machine! Makes cleaning machine a tidyer experience.

It looks used but sturdy, wich actually gives it some charm.
