I was wanting to replace our old cushions, but instead of replacing them, I had to put the seat part on top of the old one to get enough cushioning (I weight around 170). I also very unhappy with the way they’ve worn. I’ve had mine for 4 months, and the material is already pilling. When I looked more closely, I discovered that there are little tiny fibers sticking up from the material. The cushions I got are also scratchy (so I need to put a towel over them so they don’t scratch my legs when wearing shorts), and I suspect the fraying fibers may be what’s making them scratching. Sadly, I do not recommend them for many reasons, one being that the foam density is just too soft to hold up. **Q: Is the back cushion attached to the seat cushion?** A: no **Q: 3 questions. Does the red stripe fabric coordinate with the red fabric? Is that a black stripe with the red stripe? Are the cushions reversible?** A: I purchased solid colors only. These cushions cost more than I intended to spend, but they are a perfect fit. I purchased two sets almost two years ago and they are still in perfect condition.The cushions that originally came with my chairs were quickly weather-worn; then ripped apart by squirrels, birds, field mice, and whatever else needed something soft and fluffy. The cushions purchased here have endured 8 hours a day of direct southern sun, a little snow, a lot of heavy rains, small woodland creatures, and my dog for two years without a scratch. The color (navy) has not faded. The fabric has not worn. The bird poop and paw tracks washed off easily. The shape has not warped, and the seat pad is still springy and comfortable.As I washed the pollen off of them today, I appreciated that they still looked great. So even though these ended up costing the most, the quality is obvious! They look as good as the day I bought them, a very vibrant turquoise! They look wonderful!
