My wife and I are renting a house. We will only be living in the house for about another year so we wanted to freshen up the counters for cheap in the kitchen.Pros: Film is very forgiving. On the first couple of sheets when I was getting in the groove, I had to pull off the entire sheet and redo it with no issues. The pattern is very good because it hides seams very well, and when you need to use little pieces to patch the corners they blend well. Is not super thick, but appears to be thick enough to hold up for awhile. Time will tell. Also, this film is very inexpensive!Cons: The rolls are not very wide. That means you end up with more seams then if the rolls were wider. With the seams, if you want them flush, that will take a lot of extra effort in the cutting. I just overlapped them about a quarter of an inch because I'm lazy. However, be aware the overlap can be visible at certain angles in the light (see photos).Installation: I just used a box cutter and a plastic card. On the back of the paper are grids so you can cut straight. The biggest key is only peel about 4 to 5 inches of the backing off then use the card to get out all the air bubbles. If you try and lay down too big of a piece without using the card to get rid of the air bubbles, you will get some crazy air bubbles that won't go away. If this happens, you need to pull the sheet up to remove the air bubbles then use the card to adhere the sheet to the counter. My counter took a total of 4 rolls. It took me about an hour to do everything.

This product is AMAZING!!!! My countertops were white laminate with stains and just plain ugly. I hated having anyone go in the kitchen because I was so embarrassed because no matter how hard I cleaned, they still looked dirty. Was about to attempt to paint them when I came across this granite film and decided to risk the money to give it a try. I measured how much I would need and purchased 4 rolls.Upon arrival, my first impression was that the product looked extremely better than described! It has a high gloss finish, very thick and looks like granite! At first I thought I would do the flat surface, and then go back for the small side that's about an 1inch down, but tried a piece and it bent just fine and really grabbed the counter top. Follow the instructions and make sure you clean your countertops and let them dry. The film was very easy to cut with a razor blade and the seams fit very tight from one piece to the next! Best of all, no issues with bubbling, which I was very worried about. I used a small plastic cutting board to smooth pieces out and was not an issue at all. It was easy to pull up and position if it laid down wrong, but if you measure and take your time, it will look great!Note that I did have two pieces that didn't stick to the part that tucks under the border part. Instead of gluing it, I used a blow dryer to heat up the glue and then it stuck perfectly. It's been a week now, not once piece has pulled up or come unglued, no bubbles and very easy clean up. Just wipe like you would a regular countertop! Took me about one hour to apply, as I had cleaned the counters the night before. My friends thought I installed new countertops and can't believe it's a film on them!!

Not easy to cover and entire kitchen countertop with. Very hard to work with. Took me and my mom 5 hours total to apply this to all of my kitchen counter tops.However I’m giving it 5 stars becusse it’s been 6 months and it’s holding up very nicely.I had ugly bright yellow countertops and can’t afford to replace them right now so I opted for this since it’s very cheap.It looks like real laminate, you cannot tell at all that it’s basically a giant sticker.It’s been holding up against different things like cutting and some heat where I spilled hot grease on it by accident.I did up getting many bubbles in it after applying but I just took a small needle or pushpin and popped them and then the bubbles lay flat.There were a few small spots that needed covering so I cut some of the extra and placed it over the blemished spot and the way the pattern is, it blends right now.Super easy to clean.I caulked around the counters and edges and anywhere that water might seap through cracks.This made my kitchen look renovated and new!My mother in law asked me to help do her kitchen because she likes the result of mine but I declined because of the amount of time it took lol. I’m glad I did my ugly kitchen but it’s a pain to do large and wide counters.I also had to overlap the pieces because the roll wasn’t wide enough for the width of my counter.

Very appealing. Easy to out on and it hides the seams very nicely, you can't even tell. The only issue is the smell. It gave me a very bad headache so the 2nd package I got I opened it and unrolled it and let it air out outside to reduce the smell, which helped immensely.

I was so excited to redo my rental kitchen, and after reading all the positive reviews I ordered immediately. When the product arrived I was severely disappointed. One of the other reviewers said that this looks exactly like real granite. This is very glossy, but extremely fake looking. The granite pattern would probably look good from 5+ feet away, but any closer and it is very pixelated and obviously fake. If you have ever seen an old laminate "granite" countertop, this is what that looks like. It does not even look like the newer faux granite laminates. I tried to show this in the photos, but unfortunately it photographs really well lol. I took the photos on a granite topped table to show the difference.Gave 3 stars because the colors are really good (a neutral tan with white, gray, and black spots), and it feels durable. I also liked that it had a grid on the back for measuring.

This contact paper is sturdy and water proof. The color is great and goes with my decor. Easy to put on and I love the quality of the the paper.

We purchased this for second time and are very pleased with results. It helped protect the kitchen white marble from stains and put our mind at ease. There are measurement markers at the back of the sheet which makes measuring + cutting a breeze. The self adhesive property makes application super quick. Highly recommend!
