I loved adding the heart shapes to my macaron game but this mat was trickier to work with than I imagined. The thickness is greater than my standard baking mats therefore these took longer to bake. I used a toothpick to move the batter into the shapes but had issues with marks remaining in the finished cookie and quite a bit of size discrepancy. Bottom line is I just am going to need to practice, otherwise mat helps you achieve the shape.
