Use you're original springs. Springs that are provided are too weak.
Lid fits necely and looks and operates as it should. Use you're original springs. The springs that come with it are weak. All in all a very good value.

Fits 1999 gmc sierra 2500 SLE “GMT800”
I will update this if it breaks, but on the first day of installation, there are no problems. It looks good, feels good, and was easy to install. If your lock is stuck on the button, you need to manually release it with a screwdriver. You should also oil the spring on the inside—it helps tremendously after being put back together!

Exact fit for OEM
I would have given it 5 stars but it doesn’t come with installation instructions & I had to search YouTube for a video to find out it has to be disassembled in order to put the additional parts together. My OEM had cloth covering that match my seats which wasn’t an option so I ordered the dark grey which matches good with the dash & door trim. Installation was simple & took just a few minutes.

Great console lid for 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 .
The console on my 2005 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado was cracked and foam inside was coming apart . This is a great console lid at a great price . My interior is an a dark gray and color was a perfect match with rest of vehicle. Installation was easy and took around 10 minutes.

Perfect fit! And perfect fix!!
I put up with a broken console for over a year. Then I came across this. Literally the perfect after market replacement. 5 minutes to change and the price is very reasonable. For 70$ and a quick fix... don't put up with a broken one.
