The epitome of the Standard American Diet
This book is the epitome of the Standard American Diet. If you are eating a CLEAN diet, this book may not be for you. The chapter on "breads and rolls" looks like poverty food, as do some of the other recipes. (Fried Macaroni???) If you are on a budget, bear in mind that processed, prepared foods are often more expensive than whole foods.There are some recipes that look interesting to me in the "Fish" chapter. The fish tacos and corn/pineapple salsa look delicious, as does the Clam Mushroom casserole. There are also a couple of things I'd like to try in the "chicken" chapter, and other areas of the book. This book would be good an an "idea starter". The thing I liked the best about this book is that the directions are simple, without a lot of excessive, unnecessary instruction.ONE STAR OFF for listing margarine as an ingredient in most of the recipes, as if it is actual food. This needs to be edited out.ANOTHER STAR OFF for depending on unhealthy processed ingredients, like Velveeta (gag), Pepsi, potato chips, canned soups, and frozen chopped onions (?? it takes the same time to peel and chop an onion as it does to dig a bag out of the freezer and open it). It might be helpful to list real-food alternatives in the recipes for those without an awareness of the impact of eating processed frankenfoods on our health.

Amazing Edible Food With Just Four Ingredients
This is an amazing cookbook for people on the go. People who do not have a lot of time but want the healthy goodness of fresh food. This book has appetizers to desserts. These recipes are also good on the budget, only four items to buy. Some examples are, Bread Stick Pretzels, Fruit Dip, and a Snickers salad. Goulash or Chipotle Grilled chicken would go with Graham Cracker Brownies. I have never heard of Pepsi Chicken. Sounds interesting to try. This seems like a must have for your cookbook collection. I received this cookbook from a website for an honest review.

OK for a college bound youngster
I was looking for a simple cookbook to give to a college bound youngster and this four ingredient cookbook is exactly that (note that water, salt and pepper are not counted towards the four ingredients). The recipes range from making your own peanut butter, cheese mix made from Chex cereal, various dips, many ways to make chicken wings. pork chops, ham and potato casserole, meatballs, steaks, fish, and chicken. The book also include deserts recepies.The few things I have tried tasted pretty good. The book does not have images (well, it has one photo) of the prepared recipes, it does not have the nutritional information, the recipes do not show how long each recipe takes to prepare.Ali Julia review

4 Ingredient Cookbook: Timesaving Recipes For Great-Tasting Food by Bonnie ScottBook starts out with an introduction about how simple you can make meals. A cutting board, very dark brown shows in white the menu of recipes-very hard to read.Each recipe includes a title, list of ingredient-most will have prepackaged items to save you time in the kitchen.Instructions and a color photo. No nutritional information but you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat, etc.Not all recipes have a photo and some include servings.Would be a lot healthier if you used your own garden vegetables rather than canned with lots more sodium included.Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.

Meals I Can Prepare from a Walker
I am an invalid, with an injured back and a fused right leg with a titanium rod from hip to ankle. I am always on the lookout for things I can cook while leaning on a walker. This book looked highly useful, and appears to be so. I will enjoy using it.

its easy to follow 4 steps!!!
its easy to use and some of the meals are really good. some, i have had to add more liquid to some and i have to adjust the amount of pasta for some.

This is handy.
If you're ever tired of the same food and want something else that is easy and only takes a few ingredients to make then you need this book. I cook daily and I am going to use this book of recipes to bring some changes to my table. I hope you do the same.

Finally a cookbook for me!
Finally a cookbook I can understand and use. I appreciate I do not have to go out and purchase 500 exotic ingredients to make a sandwich.
