Golden StarOrganic Brown Jasmine Rice Microwavable Bowl, 6 Pack

I loved this rice, and the fact that it comes out so soft and fluffy from the microwave. It has a hint of sweetness which I love about Jasmin rice. It did not come out dry or crunchy/overcooked like you get with other microwavable brands I've tried. Definitely buying again and again.

I love this product. My husband is on a low sodium diet and all other brands of pre-cooked rice I have seen are loaded with salt, but this one is not! I am not particularly fond of cooking, so any short-cut I can find that will help me out and still keep us within the sodium restriction required is so appreciated. The flavor is delicious, and it only takes a little more than a minute to heat up.

When you heat it in the microwave, it has an unfamiliar smell. I tried to doctor it up with salsa, but it still tasted bad. The grains of rice are very hard and chewy. I have had Tom Yum Fried Rice at restaurants before … and I did not expect that kind of quality. But I did expected it to be basically good, like Ramen Noodles are basically good. This was disgusting! And this company does not allow refunds. I have 3 unopened boxes to throw away. I am going to lose $45. I guess I will have to write a letter to Mr. Bezos. A company that sells food that is this foul should not be allowed sell anything on Amazon.

Precooked, so you just need to heat it up in a microwave. Package is good as well. Mine doesn't expire till 05/2020. The taste is okay. It doesn't have a strong coconut to it. The taste is more subtle. The portion size is good. I bowl and your full ( 340kcal/ bowl)

If you want a little rice as a side dish, this works out quite well.Easy prep, and flavored similar to Thai soups (tom) e.g., tom yum as it is named for.Tasted quite similar to a rice pilaf I ordered recently at an upscale restaurant.Good stuff!

This is my favorite organic rice bowl. The rice comes out perfect every time, even when I use the stove method. I like that i can see whole kernels of rice since the other rice bowls I tried have a lot of broken or mush up grains. As all jasmine rice should be fragrant, this rice is seems more aromatic and fresh than I tried before. It also has a nutty taste from the red jasmine that I enjoy. It goes well with a main dish like curry or stir fry, but to be honest I just eat it as a snack with a little soy sauce and butter.

This product makes putting a meal together much easier and faster. It is a healthy and tasty way to round out a meal with a veggie and some protein. I will buy it again.

Being an old single person I search for good nutritional food with the least amount of effort. 70 seconds and I have a bowl of jasmine rice.
