Garage Door Bottom Threshold Seal Strip

I put these down and they definitely help with the temp and moisture in the garage. We just got some pretty heavy snow over the course of several days and it's kept water from going inside or out of the garage. Also, it's been too cold since I got them to use liquid nails, but neither the sedan nor the pickup have moved them when driven over. Really happy with the purchase. Also, took a leap of faith - they're super easy to cut to fit your garage. We have two single doors, so I trimmed these to fit my space with a standard utility knife and no issues or struggle.

Put this under a garage door style on my outdoor wooden shed. Door seals up and no water has been detected on the plywood floor.

We don't even need to put any adhesive down for our application. It's heavy enough to not blow away, but manuverable enough to get out of the way when needed. Great product!

Works so nice

I installed two of these at a custom home to assure no storm water will make it into the garage below the overhead garage door. I purchased these identical ones two years ago at their last home and they worked great, so they requested the same ones. Select your adhesive wisely, making sure it will take whatever weather conditions they will be exposed to. These poor things will be getting driven over many, many times each week so don't get cheap on glue. I do suggest having a buddy while you glue and lay these in place as the rubber may want to flip over ahead of you as you work your way down the length. That could make a mess that you weren't planning on. A good purchase- I'll be back for a couple more when they move again in two years or so;)

They are awesome first time I built a garage and did not think to slope entrance this fixed rain coming in. I love them. Dry garage after rain is sweet

Works great

I loved the idea of this strip to seal the bottom of our garage door. The floor is a 50 year-old slab and had significant evidence of wear (loss of concrete) in one area causing a 1" dip in that area. Dry-fitting this strip there was still an open gap, so I leveled the area with self-leveling mortar. The result was much better and eliminated the space, but the strip of floor was still not perfect. And there is the problem -- unless the floor is perfectly flat, there will likely be installation issues. For me, the result was a terrible time gluing down all of the front/back edges, which would lift up wherever there was the slightest defect in the floor. Liquid Nails (recommended) did not stick well, and I had to weigh down the edges with weight to flatten them, and even tried a heat gun. The result is mediocre -- the seal with the door is fine, but the edges are not clean. Days later, I am still working on small spots where the edge has lifted. Overall, a pain to install and I cannot recommend unless you have the perfect installation situation.

Easy to install. Keeps mice out which was the purpose of purchase. Also keeps dirt, leaves and other unwanted items blowing in under garage door.
