Here’s what you will need for the job: √ New solid tires, √ Allen wrench, √ Razor blade, √ Flat blade screwdriver, √ 18mm wrench, √ Lubricant, √ Silicone paste. Installation is a 5 step process: To remove the inflatable tire. 1. Find the red label and pull it off then loosen the two screws below it. 2. Remove the first plastic cover then loosen the other four small screws below it. 3. Turn the scooter over to the other side and repeat the process. You should now be left with one nut embedded deeply into the wheel under a plastic cover that is attached to the wheel support system. 4. Lift the cover slowly to avoid cracking it then loosen the nut below it using a wrench. 5. Remove the nut. The wheel is now loose enough to slide out easily. The motor cable is still attached (to the front wheel) so do not pull it off. Fitting in the solid tire. 1.Add some lubricant on the rim of the wheel. This should manage the amount of friction that will be involved during the fitting. 2. You need to soften the solid wheel before fitting it: Boil some water in a pot large enough to fit the tire. Put it in (make sure that it is wholly immersed) then leave it for ten minutes. 3. Alternatively, heat the tire in a microwave for three minutes. Check every minute. 4. Once the wheel is soft enough, remove it and fit the rim into it. Let it cool for five minutes. 5. Secure the nut and the other screws (while replacing the plastic cover) on both sides. Reattach the red labels. Installation consisted of microwaving tire for 3 minutes to get the rubber flexible enough to go into the front rim. Then coating it and the rim in silicone at pushing on as hard as I could as the rubber was burning hot. This took an hour until I finally got it mostly on, and gave up. Now I drive around with a pull to the left because the wheel is slightly off on one of the rim sides. Further be careful with which way the anti slip tread is going, I think in the burning hot rubber and pressing for an hour with it constantly popping off the rim, I put the tread in the wrong direction. Bought one of the honeycomb no flats for my back wheel and it popped on in less then 30 seconds. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars THE Absolute worst product I have EVER bought *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2019* Please for the love of god DO NOT BUY. Once you do the ride is worse as many forums can attest to, but the worst part is the performance hit. Loss in acceleration, loss of power, loss of battery life.I mean I felt it was dangerous to ride the scooter around since it was so slow cars would hit me.The cause for this is very elementary, my dear Watson, as you increase rotational mass you increase rotational inertia which makes it harder to spin up to speed but in the real world, the effect is the scooter goes from Xioami M365 to one of the cheap knockoff scooters which are dangerous slow.(These tires are HEAVY, hence the company makes one with holes, they probably also suck)If solid tires were so cool cars would have them, the military would use them, Michelin would not need into invest billions into R&D for a solid tire.The only time solid tires are good is when you use them on a wheelbarrow.Absolute worst purchase, I have ever made in my entire life. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Almost impossible to install *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2019* I boiled it and microwaved it to get it soft enough to stretch and it still was a pain to put on.
