LabelManager 210D : Okay for occasional use
Pros: * Works on both batteries (6x AA size) and (5.5/2.1 mm Outer/Inner Dia) DC barrel jack power Adapter (uses center pin ground) * Lightweight and Portable (when using batteries) * Print quality is fairly good. Cons: * Buttons feel a bit like hard jelly (like dried gummy bears), sometimes doesn't register pushes that well. * LCD contrast needs to be WAY better. Sometimes barely visible or has very limited viewing angle. This happens when using new batteries or dc power adapter, so is not a low voltage problem. Notes: * The "Contrast" option in the menu is for the print quality rather than the LCD. Had me puzzled for a bit till i read the user manual. From what I can tell so far the LCD contrast cannot be adjusted.

Does the job.
Perfect for my simple labeling needs. Battery seems to work a long time but can plug it in when needed. Not hard to figure out how to use it. One size tape, cartridges easy to change, available in multiple tape colors. I keep it handy.

Great for so many things (organizing)
I have been told by my daughter, I am OCD. I have an organizing fetish. Lol! I have used this for probably hundreds of things! I have the clear tapes with white lettering and the white tapes with black lettering. I love it! It has held up for several years now and I think I would be lost if it broke or I misplaced it! Lol! I would be ordering me another one! In fact, I ordered one for my daughter, who I have said........ she is OCD. ha! ha! and she loves it as well.

Love
I absolutely love this label maker. I love that it runs off of batteries and I do not have the hassle of charging another device. I love that the labels are not pre-cut and sized, and that you can just type your own preferred number of characters, and then press the cutter button and it clips the tape/label. I love that there are no ink refills, such as with printers. I love that the lettering can be multiple sizes, from itty bitty to a 1/2", or so (?), with the choice of bold lettering or skinny (non bold) lettering. You can even underline the lettering. I love the size of this device and how it fits in my hands. And, I bought a 5 or 6 pk of the knock-off brand (or no brand??) label tape cartridges here on Amazon as well and it works great. I think they were around $11. I haven't even tried the brand name label tape that came with the device. I am very pleased and happy about this purchase.

High Quality and Easy to Use
This is for the Dymo 210D model. Pop 6 AA batteries in, hold the power button to turn on,verify your language and label sticker size, then youโre good to go. Just type your label, press the blue print button at the top right, and select the number of copies you need, and it will print the label. It scrolls right out of the printer pretty quickly. Then press the cutter in to snip off the label. This was a solid purchase for $50. The keyboard has good feeling keys and overall quality is nice. There are additional typing and layout options like multiple row, font size, clip art, symbols, etc. it has good weight to it and feels like a quality product. It seems to me that you get a lot of bang for your buck with this compared to more expensive options.

Illegible LCD Screen
Please note this is the Dymo Label Manager 210D, as the reviews on Amazon don't always differentiate one Dymo from another. So know the 210D is going back. If you want to try it, you won't be able to download the basic user manual in English from Dymo. German, French and Norwegian, yes. Download the manual for "the kit" manual even if you didn't buy the whole kit. Then don't bother looking for a way to bump up the contrast on the LCD screen. Contrast refers to the labels, not the screen, which is very hard to read. If you intend to use it from a flat surface under florescent lights, you're ok. Tilt it slightly, and it's worse than a circa 1990 Gameboy. Sure, it's not the "portable" version, but it's pretty small and battery operated (6 AAs!) so portability should be expected. Maybe mine is faulty, as our Amazon driver did leave it in the rain in front of a downspout. The bottom of the shipping box was sodden, but the plastic-sealed machine appeared dry. I'm tired of squinting at this screen. I'll go back to sticky notes and crayons.

Great labeler!
This is the second one that I buy for my work. This one is an updated model and I prefer this one. Easy to use and not overly large.
