Accurate and Easy to Read
The unit came packed in a box complete with a lanyard, batteries and instructions. The readings seem accurate as far as I can tell and the ability to rotate the image on the screen is very useful. When inserting batteries, the battery compartment has an indication of which way round they should go; I then clipped it onto my middle finger, pressed the button and waited for a few seconds for the readings to display.I dropped 1 star from the rating because of 2 minor problems:- the instructions are printed very small and I needed a magnifying glass to read them. That said, it is fairly obvious how to use it.- the supplied batteries are not compatible with the connections inside the unit. There is too much insulation around the positive terminal to make a good contact. I replaced them with batteries from Tescos which work fine. See the photo of original and new batteries.

Seems to be the best of the bunch
I have no idea whether this is giving me accurate readings or not because I have nothing to judge it against. However, it has received consistently high praise in reports and tests (outside of Amazon, that is - it's increasingly hard to trust the reviews here - mine excepted, of course lol). It wasn't the cheapest, but in the sub £50 range it was the only one that was rated highly. I'm not going to recommend any items that purport to give accurate readings of vital health information because I am not an expert. However, if you do your own research you'll find that this one is probably the most reliable of the consumer level meters. One issue we had was that while my reading worked as expected, my wife's first attempt didn't register at all and we had to start again.

Great for home use
Oximeter was as described and with useful storage bag just remember to get the batteries in ready as it is not supplied ready to go. Easy to set up and use, though display is set for someone else to read, so it is upside down if you are checking your own readings.

Unconvinced about accuracy
Made in China it took weeks to turn upI have serious doubts about how reliable this is. Despite the fact that i do not wear nail varnish nor false nails, the reading for oxygen level moves up and down within a range of between 94 and 99 - all in the in the space of a minute! It also gives different readings for each hand. I am not an expert but would have thought the oxygen levels in your blood should be fairly constant over a minute and between hands.A lesser point is that when you have it on your finger the screen is upside down so may be tricky for some people to read.

Good purchase
We bought this to monitor my 96 year old MIL's O2 levels as she's asthmatic. I did a lot of research, as most of them seem to be inaccurate. I came across one review of 6 different devices, and this was the only one of the 6 which conformed to specific criteria from an official health department, but unfortunately I can't remember now whether it was from Canada or Norway! However, it did make me feel that this monitor was the best of the bunch, hence why we bought it. We've been quite happy with it and it does seem to be accurate.

Very easy to use
Simple to use but your finger must be correctly positioned to obtain a constant reading.Did not come with batteries when the advert gave the impression it would.

Seems Accurate
Tested for a few days, on 2 people, seems accurate, although readings take a cople of minutes to settle. No case supplied, but package states case included

No good for me.
This kept giving me very different readings within a minute or so , so I had to return. It might have been because I was wearing gel nail polish ( which I always do ) so no good for me unfortunately.
