The current one I provided photos of is a year old.I am hard on these badges, tossing it on my desk, shoving it in my pocket and throwing it in my purse.My thoughts after 5 years utilizing this badge on a daily basis....Pro’s: Professional looking, very well made, pocket on the front is big enough to hold a few business cards, back pocket big enough to hold at least 2 access cards. Although this is made more for lanyard type usage, I am able to add a key ring through the hole on the badge clip to hold all of my work keys. The plastic cover does not harden or yellow over time. Product is fairly inexpensive and really does last a long time.Con’s: You will probably need to replace the metal/plastic ID clip regularly (I do about every 6 months - luckily they are fairly inexpensive). Some of the threads/stitching start to look a bit fuzzy after a while (I just trim them with scissors about once a year and looks new again).Bottom Line: LOVE this badge holder so much that I repurchased it when the edging on my previous one had begun to fall apart slightly after 4 years of heavy/daily usage. I would not hesitate to recommend or purchase again in the future.If my opinion or experience with this item changes I will be sure to update my review.

Lasted over 3 years of daily Use
I love this product, in fact I bought one for each of my colleagues because they are so great. After daily use for over 3 years my badge cover is still in great condition. I have had to change the clip once but only because I stepped on it. The plastic cover does not harden or discolor like other holders I have used. I highly recommend this badge holder. It also looks clean and professional.
