## Description

Lisle Windshield Locking Strip Tool's unique design allows tip to swivel 90 degrees in either direction to work where others would not. Just select the tip with opening that most closely fits locking strip, and then feed locking strip into eyelet. Tip swivels in 90 in either direction. Two double-ended tips to fit most all applications. This product comes in skin-pack.

Review: Only way to go replacing the older truck windshield seals. - Works great I had one years ago and it disappeared. Had to have another for my 76 c10 replacement seal, only way to go. Good quality tool.
Review: other than the fact I don't like climbing step ladders anymore - Had a windshield popout problem on motorhome. I tried to get the glass and seal back, using a couple of screwdrivers, that turned out to be virtually impossible. I talked to the safelite man, and he said he did not do motorhome windshields, so I asked him if he would show me what tools he would use, if he did. He showed me a tool similar to this Lisle 47 tool, and explained about how to do it, using warm soapy dish liquid. I then found this tool on desertcart, and ordered it and received in a few days. This is quite rugged, and works very well, just don't get in a hurry, and look at the instructions which there are not many. Also take a look on youtube for a video. In my case it turned out to be a fairly painless job, other than the fact I don't like climbing step ladders anymore. In my case I also fabricated a clip that would bite slightly in the rubber seal, and hold the rubber seal in place on upper right hand corner of windshield. Its been good every since. I carry this tool in the motorhome just in case. Worked great for me

**Q: Can I use this for a 50 Chevy 5 window truck?**
A: I did, this is for the rope type seals,

**Q: Would this also work to lock a "trim-lok" brand one-piece locking gasket (lk1522)?**
A: Yess it works for the lock trim

**Q: What size are the holes used for feeding the lock strip?**
A: The lock strip we used was about 1/4". The whole in the tool is maybe 1/2" but I wouldn't recommend using this tool for anything larger then 1/4" due to the tool being pretty flimsy and hard to do even use at 1/4". I recommend using lots of lubricant like soapy water or window cleaner
