Works great! After 5 years!
This is my fourth time buying this unit. None of the first three have failed. I have used each one for different projects that are in the weather and none have failed. Really happy with the results and price. Look no further if you are building your own system. This one will be used for a boat battery box with a small solar panel to keep the battery topped off.

Great product
HUINE is a great recharging regular. I hooked it up to a small solar panel and to my car battery. I use it as a trickle charger for my car. When the car sits the sun is recharging my car battery.

Great for solar portable battery build
No complaints. I bought it for a small solar build and needed a small controller. It works great and I do like that it has ledโs so you know what functions are going on in the system. Update- I had a problem with one of these I ordered and it wasnโt doing the overcharge protection and was getting over 15v from the controller. HUINE tech support was immediately on it and helped to fix the issue! I was very impressed with their eagerness to help. These are the perfect size for small portable builds and you have the comfort of knowing this is one product you can count on the company to promptly help if there is a problem. Highly recommend!

Good Replacement
The original controller got water soaked during a storm and stopped working. Replaced it with this water proof controller. Install went well. I followed the instructions and took my time. Hooked it up and it detected the battery and panels and started charging the battery. Will update after longer use. This was just a test run to check my work. So for an eight year old suit case 80 watt solar panels this was good priced controller replacement that is water proof. Did not want to go with a non-water proof version. I did not rate tech support since I did not use them.

Has worked without issues.
Can't tell you about its water resistance capabilities because I'm using it inside a small enclosure I built for my two generators; one is a regular 10,000 watts generator and the other is 4,500 watts inverter generator. Both are electric start capable, so they both require battery power. The issue with the batteries is that they can lose power quickly or get damage by just sitting around, or if they are not allowed to return to a full charge state after being used. I'm using this HUINE 20A 12V 24V Auto IP68 Waterproof PWM Solar Charge Controller to keep both of the generator's batteries fully charged and ready just in case an emergency. The charge controller is connected to a 160W 12V solar panel and, so far, it has kept both batteries fully charged, without any evident of an overcharged condition. The LED lights provide indication of the battery power, solar panel power and/or an attached load. One thing that users must be aware of is that this charge controller does not have a provision to shut the power off to the load side. So, if you're not planning to attach a load to the controller, you should either tape the wires or use wire caps before connecting batteries. Anyway, based on my results and low price of this charge controller, I recommend it. It has worked flawlessly up to this point.

PWM Waterproof charge controllers
I have 2-10 amp and 3-20 amp of these charge controllers these are the best charge controllers I have purchased in the last 10 years they are small compact and one hundred percent waterproof I love the way the electronics are sealed in a silicone based substance similar to what they sealed Auto parts electronics in the 1980s.They work exactly like what is advertised I have even checked this on my multimeter they work great and should last for many many years. I also like the fact that these charge controllers are waterproof can tolerate high temperatures and also low temperatures. Super easy to install these charge controllers no programming needed.

Works very well
Used to control solar panels at our off grid cabin. Works great.

Mixed Review
I bought one for a homemade "solar generator" project. This charge controller is going to be great for some use cases and really bad for others, so make sure that you know what you are getting before you commit. Otherwise skip this and go for a Renogy. This HUINE unit is very small. True to advertising, it is filled with epoxy and very likely waterproof, or at-least resistant. Still, I wouldn't submerge it intentionally. The wires are also very small and thin gauge. The wire may be able to handle 20A burst, but I do not believe that it would stand-up to 20A sustained. Unfortunately all of the wires are the same thing gauge as well, so you're going to be limited across the board. Will this work with a single panel input to power some remote equipment (like a wireless radio power injector, or digital signage) where it isn't practical to wire it for power otherwise? Probably. But it isn't the best choice for a solar generator, or any system you seek to expand down the road.
