The tubing is about 6 feet. I've used it and it worked well. I'm happy with the product. **Q: How does it work having trouble getting vaccum pump to work for me** A: Thanks for asking. We'd be happy to help. First, make sure that the end of the tubing is open and that you do not have a bottle filler or other valve attached that may be blocking the flow. Then, with the racking cane pulled up to the top of the auto-siphon, insert the siphon into your container. The liquid should automatically begin filling up in the body of the siphon. Then, push down the racking all way to push the liquid up the racking cane. This may take 2 or 3 more full pumps to get enough volume to begin filling the tubing and get the siphon started. Do not hesitate between pumps to maintain the flow and it will begin flowing naturally on it's own once you get all the air out of line. Test it with water first and make sure that the end of the tubing is below the level of the siphon intake tip.
