Avenger A5017 Roller Photographic Light Stand 17 with Folding Base

Love this light stand. Moving lights around effortlessly is great. I usually don't even lock the wheels. Very sturdy and heavy duty. I can put a c-stand arm on it without a problem. Also love that this is surprisingly compact when folded and not quite as heavy as expected. I only wish they had a black version. I don't like my light stands being so reflective.

Leg spread on the Avenger A5017 Roller stand is a little too small to use for much of anything without a sandbag or two. It rolls nicely and is built to be sturdy and should last many years, but just pay attention to stability especially when using a softbox or a boom.

It does not seem like it follows through acceptably with the weight limit prescribed to it.

My wife uses this for her photo studio. When we took it out of the package I expected to have to assemble it at least somewhat and was surprised to not have to. Took about 1 minute to set it up and it's very stable, works great. Can't be happier.

Nice heavy duty stand and quality casters.Will hold a heavy light with no problem. Good addition to any photo studio

Great stand but not worth the the high cost compared to the larger Avenger stands. Unless you absolutely need a short stand then buy a bigger one.

This stand has proven to be a real problem solver. I use it to support a 30 pound wind machine and it makes placement in my studio a breeze (no pun intended). The stand is extremely strong and my other light stands, although substantial, pale in comparison to the A5017. My only regret is that I didn't purchase this versatile piece of equipment before now,
