Love this book and series!
I am a teacher homeschooling my 9 year old son with autism during the pandemic. This book explains in great detail and does so in a fun, easy to understand way. I have all the books from this series now and love them.My son always takes great interest in these books in beginning. However somewhere around 3/4’s through the book he does start to lose focus. It is interesting to him, but there is so much information it is too much for one sitting. He enjoys them more if we do a few pages at a time with conversations.Overall, love these books.

Erosion made fun.
This is a nice little way to present the idea of evolution. The story is about one ledge on a cliff, how it went through seasons of change, and how finally one day it cracked off, turned into boulders, then rocks, and finally became sand. Needless to say, it's not the most exciting graphic novel you'll ever read--most pictures are just pictures of rocks, cliffs, a seagull, a crab commenting on the rock. But while it may not be the most exciting graphic novel, it might be the most exciting presentation of how sand is made from a cliff. This book in combination with a movie about the Grand Canyon, a field trip to find rocks at a creek bed, smoothing off rocks in a rock tumbler, my 7-year-old daughter has found erosion very interesting.

Another good Earth science book.
Really good book to use when teaching about weathering, erosion, deposition etc... If you need some additional easy reading Earth Science for your student library this is a good addition.

Great for 2nd grade grandson
I found this book preparing a geology exploration for 2nd graders. It works very well at that level. Read it yourself first, ou may want to change what you highlight.
