So far, so good
I've had this step-down current converted for a couple of weeks now, and it's never shown any signs of failing, burning or made any loud noise. I've been using it with a 37 Watt air purifier, on and off, sometimes ensuring to not exceed 1 hour usage at a time, but occasionally forgetting about this restriction (read the description and don't use with high wattage appliances). The device does get warm, but reasonably so, like a phone charger. And it does work. How do I know? Well, when I bought my American purifier (120V), I initially plugged it in using an ordinary US to UK plug adapter. The purifier was then very fast/loud, even on the lowest setting, making me think it was broken. But since I started using this converter, the purifier has been working much more quietly/slowly, when expected to do so. It looks like getting twice the current made it work twice as fast, which was not how it was meant to be. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

Works for basic use, but limited power and versatility
The Mercury stepdown voltage converter 230V to 110V (45W) does the basic job of converting voltage for low-power devices. It’s compact and easy to use, and works fine for small electronics like chargers or lightweight appliances within its wattage limit. However, the 45W capacity is quite low, so it’s not suitable for anything more demanding. You really need to be careful not to overload it, as it’s strictly for small devices only. The build quality feels average but acceptable for occasional use. It runs quietly and doesn’t overheat with light loads, which is a plus. That said, it lacks advanced protection features you might expect from higher-end converters. Overall, it’s a basic, budget-friendly voltage converter that works well for small, low-power devices but has clear limitations.

Step down converter
This is a step down voltage converter to go with my Toro ultra plus leaf blower because it is 110V not 230V because otherwise the voltage in this country it is 230V in the USA it is 110V and the Voltage would ruin the appliance. This is what you need to use american products you cannot use an ordinary adapter. But this converter is well worth the money if you don't want to ruin you're appliance. I will post a video of the converter when I use it TBC
