Fellowes Laminator Voyager 125, Automatic Features, Jam Free Laminating Machine, with Laminating Pouches Kit (5218601), Silver/Black

I needed a laminator that works well for printed photographs, and so far this one works very well! Not used it a whole lot yet, but I've laminated a few photos printed on 68# stock. The laminator bonds the pouch to the photo fantastically with no haze, and no wrinkles. Build quality on this laminator is excellent as well, if you're looking for something reasonably priced that works well for photographs, look no further!

When we received this machine, it didn't work so we exchanged new one. After a couple of week, we received it but it was used one. We bought the new machine to pay. We are very unhappy for that!!!

The Voyager 125 Laminator is Fellowes' top-of-the-line unit, and it does a very nice job. It's notreally meant for household use, but offices, businesses, schools and organizations will find it quitehandy. Lamination is great for any paper document that gets handled a lot, as it uses heat and pressureto seal paper between two sheets of clear plastic. Some possible uses might be menus, cheat sheets formachinery, name tags, business cards, photos and so on.The Voyager 125 is easy to use, especially if one opts for the AutoLam function, which optimizes theprocess to suit whichever item you're laminating. There's an Auto Reverse function, allowing you toreverse feed your item in case of jams. The unit automatically tells you when a cleaning is in order,and Fellowes has its own cleaning solution available for that purpose. A small LCD screen on the fronttells you what's what, and a pair of sliding guides center your material.After a 4 or 5 minute warming-up period, I was ready to go. The Voyager includes 10 letter-size lampockets, so I chose 3 documents of different natures. These were an ink-jet printed photo, a colorphotocopy, and an offset-printed ad insert. All 3 looked beautiful when finished, though one had aspeck of debris that I overlooked; be careful about that! The full-color sheets looked bright andvibrant after lamination, and the ink-jet photo, especially, looked outstanding. I was concernedabout the photocopied sheet perhaps presenting a problem, but that was not the case. Felloweswarns against attempting to laminate objects, but most normal paper items should be OK. Thefinished laminations are tough but flexible, and should stand up to frequent handling.The Owner's Manual is easy to follow, and tells you everything you need to know. Laminationpockets of various sizes are available. The pockets and the Voyager itself are fairly pricey, butamazon currently offers a deep discount from the list prices. If your business or organizationspends a lot on lamination services at copy and print shops, you may find that the Voyager 125will pay for itself sooner than you think. Anyone can use it, it operates quickly and silently,and the finished product should certainly please you. Definitely check it out.

My first unit arrived broken. It would not heat up. On the side of the unit is a screw that is to be removed for proper operation of the cover opening. There was no screw to remove on mine. I felt that my unit had been previously returned - there were little signs of this everywhere. This was no fault of Amazon as it was shipped from one of their Mega wholesalers in PA.. I returned and waited a month to buy it again. This unit is beautifully made and works perfectly. The screw was there as it should be to be removed.If this unit works as it should for the next 30 days I will update to 5 Stars.1/24/13 Problem - the LCD screen goes blank at random but the laminator still works but there is no way to control the machine as the LCD problem.1/29/13 I re-seated the connector to the LCD all seems to be fine - most consumers would not be able to do this.This is a beautifully made unit!!!!

We use our laminator to laminate window stickers for two car dealerships. Needless to say, we needed something that was going to hold up to a lot of laminating and not fall apart on us. We tried a few other laminators, but they weren't able to handle the traffic that we put through it. Finally, we got this Voyager 125 and it is doing an excellent job. It warms up quickly, laminates flawlessly and you can actually open it up to clean it periodically! This one is a winner!

We have used 3-4 of these laminators where I work and they only seem to last about a year. They are not easy to clean, have numerous errors and can't seem to last more than a year. I have tried taking them apart and service them, but I keep getting error screens and their customer service don't seem to know much at all about any repair. They just want you to buy another. I am going to another brand that doesn't have all the unnecessary electronics and things to go wrong.

I was shopping for a laminating machine for my work and wanted to get a high quality machine that could laminate larger pieces. I wanted to buy the Fellowes Voyager 125 laminator, but it was almost $600 on other websites which was out of the question. I got it NEW and unopened from LAVATRON for a little over $300! I received it quickly and at an amazing price!!! THANK YOU!!
