Just an amazing product.
This is one of those old products that has been around forever...like Marvel Mystery oil. It is the only oil I will use! Works SOOO well!!...never had an issue with dry or leaking boots!

Read the review
I sent it back, because I needed it for the next day on the shearling coat, and it said it had a temporary campfire smell, so I could not use it, but the reviews say it is a superior product and - my impression was that it is true

GOOOD. but
Thin & harder to use than the thicker paste, but better if you have a lot to crevasses: all forms seam to seal & condition well.

In business since the "Roaring '20's"!
I was really happy with Huberd's shoe oil. I recently bought a new pair of work boots, which did not already come with water resistance. So at the suggestion of a friend, I was told to get something like Huberd's to water proof them. It's been an unusually wet Winter season so far in New York (with NO snow, buy the way), but there's been plenty of rain. It's really easy to apply to your work boots, I just used bounty tissues to put Huberd's on the tissue, and rubbed it vigorously in. I cleaned the boots off FIRST (made sure I let you, the reader, know that), and rubbed the oil in. It's been very good protecting the leather (haven't had a problem with the leather cracking or anything), NO water has gotten into the boots. When I did the rubbing in, I went a little heavy with the oil, but it hasn't seemed to be a detriment. When you use it, make sure you re-apply every couple of weeks (3 to 5 more times) to really lock in the way the oil is supposed to work. PLUS, the fact that Huberd's has been in business since 1921, I wanted to show support of their business, they seem to be doing SOMETHING right ........... for 102 years!

Love huberds shoe oil!
I live this stuff! Some people don't like the smell but it goes away fairly quick. I always have a can in the shop. Works great on leather boot, saddles, tach, anything the gets a lot of hard use and weather. It has many othe uses as well. All my hammer, axe, shovel handles get a good coating several times a year. I have even used it on the teak decking on my boat with great success. It does darken leather a bit but show me a good weatherproofing oil that doesn't?

Amazing Leather Conditioner!
I got this to compliment the Huberd's Shoe Grease for light touch ups. It's basically a thinned out Shoe Grease. Put some on a paper towel or rag and rub into the leather. I use this in between full cleaning of my leather boots. Easy to apply and dries well in warm weather. Highly recommend this here stuff!
