Great buy! I wanted something inexpensive to use for my daughters wedding in May as we will be setting up a photo booth. In addition, I take family photos on my spare time and wanted something for when the weather is not good and I need to take inside pictures. This is absolutely perfect for my needs! This lightweight aluminum frame comes with 2 tripod support stands, 4 crossbars, and a carrying case. I only used 3 crossbars today, as I did not it to be much wider. It was very easy to set up and to extend the sides to get some height. I set this up on my own and it took me about 10 minutes because I did not know what I was doing, and never had one before, next time it will be much faster. Just to try it out, I placed one curtain of lights on it and took some photos of one of my cats and a small clear ornament just to show how I will use it. I really do like it and I am extremely happy with the quality and how durable it seems to be. I will definitely update this review if I have any issues in the future. Most of what I hang from it, should be sheer and light, so I don't expect many issues as far as bowing in the middle due to weight.

It comes in a nice carrying bag that match my other photography equipment. It's very easy and simple to set up. If you had set up a tripod or a music stand, then it will take you no time to set up this stand. The cross bar comprises of 4 sections. They are labeled, and you need to look at them to figure out how to get them together.Good quality. What can you ask for more at this low price?I bought another stand previously and the upper sections won't stay up to keep the desired height. Fortunately Amazon honored my return and full refund. Summary:This is the 2nd brand/model I got to test, as I use this kind of backgrounds for video and photography productions. Sometimes as a normal backdrop, and sometimes for Chroma Key / Green Screen purposes. It is quite similar to other models sold by different manufacturers that I reviewed in the past (Fancier Studio TB30, LimoStudio AGG1112 - You can check my Amazon profile for those reviews), so I would like to focus in this review on the main differences compared to them so far:- It was cheaper a bit compared to the other models (2-3 dollars less).- It didn't come inside a paper box (excluding the package by Amazon) (while some other models did).- It wasn’t supplied with any documentation (some models did include a user manual)- The carry bag doesn’t have any logo on it (some other models did).- This is the exact same carry bag as with the other models (though it felt a bit cheaper at first).- The telescopic crossbar is similar to the Fancier Studio TB30 (I took pictures of the 4 bars the consist the assembled crossbar, so check it out).- The tripod stands have 3 locking knobs (like most of these simple tripod stands, though LimoStudio AGG1112 offers 4 locking knobs).- Personally speaking, I find the tripod stands the least impressive compared to the other models, though they seem to have the same weight.The bottom line is that you can find this background/backdrop support kit under different labels with slight changes. For some reason, those small things mentioned above either bothered me about this specific model, or made the other models look better compared to this one. I am not sure if everyone will notice those slight differences, but it did have an impact on me.General Pros/Cons for a background support kit:The pros:- Attractive price (assuming you don’t have to pay shipment expenses…).- Can be adjusted both in height & width.- Light and compact, so it's portable.- Will fit both indoor & outdoor purposes.- Suitable for all sorts of photography & video productions (normal backdrop, Chroma Key / Green Screen, etc.)- Suitable for both beginners and professionals.- Comes with a convenient carry bag.The cons:- You need to setup it properly for it to be stable.- This is made from a light aluminum, so don’t expect here a massive tripod / crossbar. If you will extend it to the max (height and especially width), I am not sure how durable it would be over time, so make sure you use a light backdrop, and if you can use other modifications to support the frame it would be a wise thing to do.- If you plan to use it indoor, I believe you can purchase simple accessories at Wallmart (or any "Do it yourself" stores) to create your own background stand, and by that save some money...****FAQ :****If you have any, please do ask and I will do my best to answer them.

I am by no means a professional photographer. I take pics of my kids in my basement. I bought this instead of continuing to put push pin holes in the wall to hang up the sheets I use for backdrops. I recently purchased paper backdrops and this was perfect to hold them. I bought some of those lightweight clips and the whole things works perfectly! It's super easy to set up/take down. Has ability to make really wide, tall, short, narrow. The legs seem pretty sturdy. I don't push all the way out just b/c the material I use is lightweight. I can even fit the clips in the bag, It lays flat, has 3 compartments for two legs and rods and then rolls and the handles hold it together. It's so convenient to put this up, take some pics, and then take it down. Just can't beat the price for a modest photocrazymom!!!

providing a set of instructions with this would be a complete waste of paper. It is SO easy to set up. Took me about 5 minutes the first time and takes about 2 now that Im used to it. Not the most heavy duty thing in the world but for the price, it's perfect. I use it for in-home newborn sessions. Looks professional and serves its purpose. I would buy another!

It is not the most sturdy stand in the world, but for the price it can't be beat. Easy to assemble and travel with. I only use it occasionally and it is perfect. If you need something for everyday use you might want to look into something more heavy duty. I have had the long seamless paper rolls on it and had no issues.

Didn't last a week, plus it kept falling.
