This product was easy to put together, came with all the needed hardware, and actually looks really nice. Doesn’t come with any instructions and the shipping is weird since it appears to come directly from China.

The package arrived well. There was some kind of Asian typing, so I'm assuming is "Made in China" like 90% of all other things in this world. The material seems to be some type of Aluminum (non magnetic), so is very lightweight, but seems sturdy enough for my microwave, which by the way, seemed to fit very well. There are no instructions whatsoever, but the thing is self explanatory and easy to assemble. It came with some screws with plastic expansions and bolts with metal expansions. The plastic expansions didn't hold well as they were easy to pull out, but the bolts did good and hold strong. One downside I see it that the feets of my microwave oven didn't aligned well with the transversal support, so it's a bit wobbly. I could use some kind of continuous surface so it could rest without worrying about the microwave getting between the supports. The other downside is that its overpriced. If it wasn't that it was the only available shelve that could support my microwave, I wouldn't have bought it. It costs about the same as the microwave itself.

The area designed to provide mounting in to studs in the wall was off so much I had to have a plate made to secure shelf into the studs otherwise it would not hold the microwave. This cost a additional $60! No directions came to help assemble as it came in many pieces. I would not have purchased this if I knew these things!

There is NO WAY this thing can safely hold 180lb in real world applications. (Now I see the title says 80lb... still, there is no way it can SAFELY hold 80lb... that's the weight of our 10k btu AC unit). The aluminum rails and frame bend easily and the entire shelf moves from medium pressure... It springs back to original shape because the aluminum is very flexible, not brittle. The reason we got it is that it's the only shelf I could find that fits the size of our large microwave. However, I had to use much larger screws than the provided ones and I will be adding additional L bracket supports underneath. Also, assembling the shelf was a bit of a pain. I suggest manually threading the perpendicular rails first. Then put the shelf on a flat surface so that the rails align in the horizontal plain, and only after that tighten the screws. Otherwise, the horizontal rails will turn and won't sit flat... there are no latches or indents to make sure the horizontal rails won't rotate. Lastly, the included Allen key is junk. It's so soft, it stripped before I could finish assembly. If you don't have a set, get one, or you won't be able to finish the job. PS. I added the brackets under the unit. Now it's stable and doesn't move when I pull on the unit. NOW it can safely hold a large Microwave oven....

This is actually a very strudy wall mount shelf, easy to assemble and install.I saw other customer complained about it's weightbearing, the material is aluminum alloy which is lightweighted yet rather strong.It includes 2 bag bolts and screws in the package, all seems good quality, seller must have upgraded them. I have a small kitchen and it solved my issue with limited counter space. It looks amazing and works perfectly!Really love this shelf and would recommend to anyone.
