I received this well packaged in a tube. I was surprised to see that the film actually looks just plain grey with lines versus shiny and metallic. It does reflect a small amount of light, but when in a shaded area, looks to be a plain grey. I have no use for this roll now since it does not even nearly match the brushed aluminum components already installed in my vehicle.

I was hoping to recover parts of my car's interior with this film. I have heard good things about it, however, after receiving the brushed aluminum sample, I found it to be very cheap looking. It is darker than the picture shows and does not reflect light at all, which makes it look and feel much more like duct tape than brushed aluminum metal. Decided not to use this in my vehicle.

I needed something similar to the rest of the trim in my car, as my the top of the gear lever had all the aluminum "paint" worn off. This fit the bill. Looks good, wish it was a little shinier, and more metallic but holistically it fits with the rest of the car.

Excellent service. This item looks like gray vinyl with streaks. It does not resemble brushed aluminum. I returned it and they charged shipping and 20% restocking fee. I should have and later did order samples, but lost interest in the project.

Looks good, bit of a learning curve on application. Once you have that figured out, it feels good and looks great.
