Did not expect this would be so good
Pros : The construction and paint quality is good. It was not missing any pieces. I really love the mechanism where pikachus magnifying glass turns alongside it's head. There is a spring on the tail, so it can wiggle. It's hat can be turned along with the feet. It's so cute and so satisfying to put together.Cons: The instructions were not 100% on point due to which I had put in wrong parts or missed a couple of parts and had to redo it. But this is similar to other non Lego products where the companies don't spend money on the paint in the instructions booklet and so you don't see the actual color.Overall : 5 stars for build quality, no missing pieces -1 for colors on booklet ( not super bad compared to Rick and Morty set ), +1 for surprising me with head turning and hand with magnifying glass raising toward head ( see pics )

Excellent buy!
This is the cutest and coolest Pikachu! My son had a blast assembling this guy. He especially loves the movement her makes when you turn his head.Great quality, not too difficult and not too easy to assemble, and lots of fun!

This was a gift for my little girl
This was a little gift for my little girl. We put it together together it was a bit complicated but I just say that it still will design and pretty sturdy I love how it turns the head and the how it’s just perfect that it lines up with the eye and makes it actually look like it’s trying to look through the magnifying glass. A bit on the pricey side

Excellent toy!
Bought this for my son for christmas and he absolutely loved it. The instructions were easy, it had all the pieces plus some extras. He really loves legos and Pokemon and I will definitely be buying the other detective Pikachu set off of Amazon!

Great item, poor packaging
I'm only giving 2 stars for "giftable" because I did order it as a gift and it came in it's original box (like it was pulled right off the shelf in a store) WITH my name/address on a sticker, attached to the box. I reached out to Amazon and they were happy to replace it and the 2nd order came the exact same way! For that reason, I'm very disappointed. As for the item itself, grandson loves it!

if you love legos and love pokeman this is it
my son loves these way more than legos cuz they are harder and more interesting. pieces are more challenging to figure out. my kid is 8.

We bought this as a birthday gift for a family friend & he loved it!!! The packaging & the building instructions included made it super easy to put together. He got a ton of gifts & this is the one he stopped to start playing with. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun toy.
