Very sturdy and do a great job

I bought two 12 packs for a move. They worked great. They are a little thin compared to the quilted moving blankets you typically find, but they did the job. They are easily torn as I caught a blanket under the wheels of a dresser. I want to turn them into bedding for my dogs. Not sure if they will hold up in the wash as they are kind of a spun/blended material and not woven. The neighbor's cat has already started to sleep in a pile of them that I have in the garage waiting to be washed.

Opening these new stink something awful. Aired them out for days before use. They did work well for moving over 600 miles et protected our items well. However, I would be careful on what surfaces you place them on. For instants we did not pay attention to the soft side versus the string side, and in the Texas heat being in storage for two months the adhesive they use to keep all the string together melted and stuck to any surface it was on. Thankfully the goo-fuzz came off easily with a cleaning wipe that had citric acid in it like Armen Hammer wipes. I was grateful for the price and the quantity and the ability to use them again in the future.

We move a lot and grew tired of renting blankets. These work great and the cost is just right! We've also used a couple for lining a kennel for our cats while moving. An excellent purchase in my opinion!

It's not as thick as I wanted moving furniture pads. The ones you get at Uhaul are 2x thicker. These have small particles that fell all over the place, especially this tinsel. Not very good furniture protection, unless you double wrap them. Okay for the money - but I'd rather have the thicker ones, and pay more.

What I needed was to pack boxes quickly; a few days here and there and then bam my daughters arrived, packed, and movers took it all. It was something to see. I have never had to buy moving stuff ever, so when I had the thought of buying these blankets to pack breakables quickly, I figured this would work; and they did. So much so I bought more. My daughters where able to make the boxes, put the cut blanket inside and wrapped glassware etc., and close it up. They also came in handy to go over my furniture with this nifty wrap that kept it all in place. As I go through my storage boxes, I am keeping any blankets so I have them to repack any boxes that didn’t get the same treatment. They were a god send, and when I have to move again in couple of years I will buy more without hesitation.

I bought these and after reading some of the worst reviews I bought these AND another brand that was close to double the price ($65/dozen). I preferred these. Easy packaging, no smell and no particles flaking off. I would buy these. These were even thicker than the more expensive comp. Worth the value. Also I’m probably 8 blankets deep and still working on one roll of large shrink wrap (so buying a dual pack wasn’t necessary and target does sell if you’re in a pinch)
